I’m fully convinced that many of the impressionists and post-impressionists would’ve used acrylic had it be invented and popular during their time. Great work!!
It's already done, Monet-style sunset over New York will be released next week with oil paints. Now there is an #AcrylicPainting on the channel: Winter Sunset, maybe this will suit you: ruclips.net/video/hYub5BSINUA/видео.html P.S. Thank you a lot for your comment! 🤩
Hello, thanks for the comment! When I did #OilPaintingTutorial, I signed all the paints, but here it’s probably too much hurried to upload a video. Here I use #acrylic paints, it is worth mentioning that the palette has ocher, brown and black, medium yellow (not lemon), medium red (not dark), turquoise and blue are also used. If you want to do this work in oil, yellow and red medium I would take cadmium, brown - mars brown transparent, black - ivory black (in no case carbon black!), turquoise would be mixed from ultramarine, titanium white and emerald, well, blue titanium white and ultramarine. I hope this helps in your #art, if you have any more questions feel free to ask.
I would also advise you to study the colors that you have at home in this way: ruclips.net/video/qbfO-3rz_l4/видео.html After this practice, it seems to me that you can quickly choose exactly the shade that you like the most.
Hi Alex I m impressed by this beautiful painting! Really enjoyed watching how you keep thinking and painted so thoughtfully on each step! I loved watching this beautiful work! Thank you for this sharing! Greetings from Canada 🇨🇦
Thank you so much, as always you are very kind, attentive and awesome! 💐 I hope you are doing well. #Canada is beautiful and magnificent country, I am glad to receive hello from whole over the world 🌍❤️👋
Hi, Bert! I really appreciate this advice, I'm currently working on a video with #NewYork in the evening and will add a description of the colors. For this #AcrylicPainting, any brand of acrylic paint will do. I used Amsterdam Art Creation. Colors we can see at 00:00:25 - Palette: White titanium Naphthol red medium (we can replace it with any Red Medium, for example Cadmium) Turquoise green Brilliant Blue (we can replace it with Ultramarine + White or any blue you have) Ivory Black (I try to avoid Black Soot paint, but it's quite rare) Burnt Umber (we can replace it with Iron Oxide/Mars Brown/Dark Brown) Yellow Ocher Azo yellow deep (we can replace it with any Yellow Medium, for example Cadmium) I should note that many paint manufacturers name their paints in a special way for marketing purposes, and the same color (or close to it) may differ in name from different manufacturers. When I go to an art store, I trust my intuition more. It seems to me that in order to learn the palette well, such an exercise could come up: ruclips.net/video/qbfO-3rz_l4/видео.html
I wish I can add my art here. I watched your video and I did it mine. Thank you for your video, it was perfect. However, can I ask you something? There is a color in there. It's like dark red, but I am not sure about that. Can you tell me which color is that?
Hello, you can upload your work on Facebook (link in contacts) and I can give you a couple of tips. The red from the video is an imitation of cadmium red DEEP/DARK (it is pinker) also you can try carmine.
Hey :) Hello, here I used acrylic paints and it seems to me that they have no specific names, except for yellow ocher. Red, yellow, brown, turquoise, ultramarine, black. If you are interested in learning about the color palette, try to do with the paints that you have, here is a color study: ruclips.net/video/qbfO-3rz_l4/видео.html&ab_channel=AlexTeal-paintingforbeginners
Hi Alex Teal, I just found your channel recently and I really enjoyed watching this video. I'm going to paint this! Could you tell me the type of brush or brushes you used for this piece? Greetings from Canada.
