Is there something wrong with 24.6.1 cuz I changed my settings and now they aren't showing up in display settings. When I add new custom resolutions they aren't shoing up in the display settings.

I'd recommend experimenting with different refresh rates, gradually ascending from lower to higher refresh rates and stop where you feel like the monitor is not able to keep up

And according to my roommate that has an nvidia gpu, you need to “overclock” the screen to get to the advertised 60hz. But I ended up just having to turn on a setting in the tv. But I sertainly wasn’t trying to oc 1080p to 4k lol.
Just Follow The Steps From the Video. And If Your Monitor Reverts to Default hz after being black for 15 Seconds that your Overclocking capacity. Make Sure You Subscribe
@@is4_626 if you have a different display try that one because your current display is capped to what its max is. (I'm not sure if there's a way to uncap it but by what i've seen not really).

Driver version seems affect on how much you can overclock too. Mine can go up to 80hz on cheap viewsonic monitor.

after creating a custom resolution (above 60Hz) no option above 60Hz shows either on the Advanced display settings or in Display adaptor properties
All you have to do is turn GPU Scaling off and all the options should show
