Like your spray decks! The current spray deck for my Wenonah Wilderness weighs 7 lbs. I never use it because it turns my 32 lb canoe into a 39 lb canoe. Do you have an approximate weight for a solo 15 foot canoe full deck?
They come in right around 5 pounds for a solo, including mounting hardware. We usually use an 8.7oz marine-grade fabric called Aqualon Edge, but we can make them with a lighter fabric for customers who are particularly weight conscious, though we think the more durable, vinyl-coated, marine-grade fabric is worth the extra pound or two. :-)
OMG I LOVE LOVE LOVE that Dragonfly. Wow. What a BEAUTIFUL boat!
Looks like a solid product. Mine is made and on the way, can’t wait to use it on my Phoenix. Hopefully can get out before the water turns hard.
I’ve never done that sport but I like your video.
You answered a question I've been having, and that is "Can I portage with the decks on?" Your video shows you doing that at the end.
Very nice design.
Thank you! 🙂
