OK.. but you didn't actually explain what the difference is, beyond changing the color of LEDs. Like, for example, that none of the drive modes in the IX other than Sport allow you to alter the suspension/chassis or steering weight. So if you want "comfort" performance with "sport" steering, you can get than but you have to change the one-and-only customizable drive mode (sport), so if you _sometimes_ want sport performance, but _always_ want sport steering, well you can't do that (without fuzting through numerous menus).
100% agree. Sales person told me it's all able to be customized, but after taking delivery I found out you only have these template options and unable to modify the aspects of steering, power train, etc.
Great presentation thanks! on PHEV U11 25e does "efficient mode" have an impact on thermal engine and electric engine functionings (is this mode allowing car to move from electric to thermic?)
I had my old bmw x7 2021 has the care mode, I don't have this on my new bmw 2024, the mode that change the ambient light and active massage chair, so you think I don't have that feature?
@@BMWofFW Thank u for quick response. I have a further inquiry. G60 520i my mode doesn't remember the last setting. Can you tell me why? It's very inconvenient.
So that is "added milage" where your particular driving habits and eco habits have added x amount of miles that you normally would have burned up with normal or sport mode.
@@smhca ok, MY Modes is a BMW experience changer that modifies everything from Steering, suspension, motor, transmission, interior lighting, massage seats, window shades and interface color theme and sounds. All except for personal have been predetermined what their combos are/do differently with the exception that the instrument cluster center content and HUD (when equipped) are always customizable.

Not even clear what settings each mode is set to
I have the BMW X1 2024 and the modes changed from 5 to 3 the ones gone were Expressive and relax
Yes me too, with the software update they removed 2 modes

They got rid of it because it wasn’t a highly used feature believe it or not
@BMWofFW wow, I used it a lot. This is a bummer
I have a 2024 x7 40i, and I can't find my mode in this car. Do you have any idea?
So X7 still has standard Sport, Comfort and Eco pro modes, not the extended ones of the X1
Do you know why efficient mode can't be set in startup mode?
@@노는게젤조아-k5x it can only certain models… but fort the 2/3/4 series it’s still just comfort as standard mode

I am still wondering what does it mean on efficiomode the little gas sign with some km+..

If you switch to sport do you still need to change on gear shift?
Yes still, sport mode changes everything but trans setting
Unless you’re an M car, all that sh*t is individually adjusted anyway
unable to find my modes on x5 50e. when i search it shows mymode theater but unable to select. do you know if there is a way to enable it?
X5 50e doesn’t have my modes, it has standard PHEV modes like Sport, hybrid, electric, and battery save
How can I make Efficient mode standard when I get in the car?
Weirdly sport and efficient can’t be made standard…
Can I setup Personal mode as default?
It is normally, but if changed yes you can make personal default again the same way
I personally prefer the look and feel of my 2023 330xi center console. Too much glam that the one you’re showing.
nothing wrong with that! I actually agree, personally i like the mix of iDrive8 and preLCI controls :)
Don't worry, BMW will be sure to lessen the luster in future 3 series in order to stratify the luxurious properties of the 7 from the 3.
You need to slow down my man not everyone is as versed as you are with this new system.
sorry bob, trying to get a lot of content in a short video.
There are three fantastic buttons within the UI of RUclips: rewind, pause, and fast-forward. You might consider using them.
Buddy, you explained nothing…… come on lol
