it's a shame we don't get different user modes, where the mode for each driver includes steering, suspension, power and spotify playlist. when our son passes his driving license i'd like to have a mode for him where the speed limit enforcement was set and the entire acceleration policy set to make it hard to get to those limits. he wouldn't be allowed a sport boost mode either
It's really great that you go through the various applications of the car as the instruction manual would take months for me to read as the information there is so jam-packed with instructions that one (or rather I ) lose track of what was being informed 2 pages previously. Your videos have been an enormous help.
By the way I do hope that you keep yr iX1 rather than ditching it for the Fisker Ocean (personally I wouldn't dare buying one as the garages and dealers are pretty thin on the ground here in Scandinavia, and I would be extremely suspicious of the support available should anything go wrong. For all its faults BMW (Adaptive LED problems) is in a completey different league where that is concerned.
I am very well aware of that but the Fisker is a very tempting car 🤪
Waiting for my X1 storm bay grey to arrive. Got the 28i since in Canada, only option. Wonder if the efficient mode also ease off the accelerator as well. Like do it make the acceleration more gentle with same amount of depth u step on the accelerator? I remember x5 do have that. If so, also wish it can be set as start mode as well, which is great for just between home and workplace. Great vid, time to sub since I already watched like 5 of ur vids lol.

Hi. Great video again. So, in some modes you can select to activate/deactivate the seat massage. Does the massage start automatic in the others ??
Its only in relax you can activate massage

can you change the layout of the instrument cluster in different modes? or is it locked to the mode-specific one (e.g. in Expressive, can you change it to the "sporty" cluster)? Also, how's the ambient light situation in the rear? Only in the door handles, or the foot area as well?
As I have found you can not change more than the settings I have shown, so unfortunately not. In the back it lights up the door handles and the floor.
And then… what is the best driving experience “mode”?
Think you can change your ambience light without change mode …
I use the normal mode mostly. Yes, you can change the ambient lighting in any mode.

Strange but have heard that from another guy also. You should contact your dealer about this I think.
Hi, I have the 18i M sport and some days ago the lock/unlock lights pattern was different than I have now…not sure why is that and if I did this in the settings? Do you know how/where to check this?

I think it’s only available in boost mode but I am not sure.
yes only with boost +40hp, you can feel it when you eccelerate and then press de boost pedal
what about my personal color? if I want to have purple in sport mode can I have it? or does the car always overwrite your personal color every time you change the mode? because if it does what's the point of letting you choose in the settings the color of ambient lighting?
I am not sure about this, have to check or maybe someone else already have done this?

It’s an estimation how much more range you have gained in this mode
Is it possible for you to set the "efficient" mode as "start mode"?

Nothing I use…so mostly a gimmick 😊
i like the sound of the expressive mode it makes me drive even more like an idiot with this car.
Heyy i bought the x1 25e with M package and 19" wheels but i have a doubt i have read in different forums that the suspension is not comfortable, with the m package which includes adaptive suspension, can you change the suspensions hardness? Is theres a real difference between the modes ?
I have 20 inch and no problem with ride comfort

that's very subjective. I have a Volvo with 20" wheels and i don't like it at all. Now i bought a 17" wheels on X1 (the ugly but comfy ones)

They were on automatic adaptive LED mode all the time…more about this in another video next week 🙄🧐😊

Jag visar det i inställningarna för sport mode, dsc off är utan stabilisering.
You can also activate drive off support in snow or sand which allows the wheel to spin a little bit but that’s found under driving settings, chassi and not in the sport mode settings

I don’t hear any sounds btw . Is there anything wrong in doing? It has no sound in some modes
Some modes have very subtle sounds…barely noticeable
The expressive and art modes I’m not hearing nothing not even sure why they do beside still graphics.
