I've covered development builds of Iron Meat a few times on the channel (because it's awesome), and this latest one features two brand new levels and one reworked level (all with big boss fights at the end of them). This is going to sound weird, but I like the genre of "inorganic-organic horror" if that makes any sense. Basically something looks cool to me but just gross enough when something inorganic is essentially taken over by organic matter. The only other example I can think of where this is done great is the vehicle bosses in Zombie Army 4 I think (the tank, apc's, etc.).
Yeah. That's what I was thinking as we really need more of this subject cause its underrated, who knows, we could have another zombie game with both human, animals and vehicles infested by flesh and distorted into crude cyborgs to possibly fight. Would be epic. Just Iron meat has limitless potential with its setting with how the Meat could graft into and make into hybrid-monsters. Same goes for Zombie Army 4...hope in 5 the Zombie vehicle concept is more expanded upon with new types of bio-mechanical abominations to snipe and take down...maybe even the upper half of a zombie with the lower half of a cart powered by flesh rotating the axles.
@@colonelrockrits9436 Man I'd love a ZA 5 as well. I wonder how these stages will connect together. Each stage introduces a new character, seemingly unaware of one another’s existences. I doubt they’ll all cross paths at some point in the game, but it’d be really cool if they did.

Though I don't get the 10:16 joke there, i don't see any scooters or relevance there.
@Colonel Rockrits I think I meant the vehicle being dropped and exploding. There is a trend of people riding electric scooters and abandoning them haphazardly everywhere, on the sidewalk, in front of entrances, flinging them up trees, into fountains. So when I saw a falling and exploding chopper I immediately thought of those, because that's what people would do, jump out of it midway/midflight and let people deal with the fallout.

That second level layout is just beautiful. Bless the designers. Edit: Because it says in your face how much of Contra inspired it. I think it’s literally the first level of Contra IIRC.
5:06 to think, the whole level, you were fighting atop this thing’s back
This is going to sound weird, but I like the genre of "inorganic-organic horror" if that makes any sense.
I'd love "_____ zombie problem has popped up in russia, japan, America, south America, etc." just expanding on the gross zombie formula anywhere in WW2 earth would be awesome
Heck, what if we fought japanese flesh-steel "zombies" and one of the bosses is a giant aircraft carrier/whatever covered in zombie bits (gotta fight it in a plane or something else)
блин, не лупил в такое безумие под такое замечательное музло (( буду наверствывать!
Как там говорится... ШадАп энд тэйк май мани!
That is one of the coolest fucking boss designs I have ever seen
Barney the friendly dinosaur was broke and enlisted as a merc. Now, he's known as Barney the Fierce dinosaur
I like that the fire rate syncs up with the music
I didn't think that any developer or studio would make games in this style anymore, the last time I saw something this good is metal slug series.
Wow, the music and the graphics are so good and it's very Super Contra like, I love this so much.
I love this and that BGM is a chef kiss! (was not expecting Barney's badass brother to jump in this!)
Loved the little dad joke at the end
Wow, i met this game when your uploaded the demo, can't believe it's already out.
I'm gonna buy it now 😊
These people surpassed anything I've ever seen!!!
My God you are too much 👏👏👏👏👏!!!
I'm already a fan of this work of art you created, congratulations 👏👏👏👏👏👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻!!!!
You weren't lying about the contra-inspired part. F'n loved that game.
Never knew I needed dollar store Barney fighting a biomechanical tank, but here we are!
I wonder how these stages will connect together.
Each stage introduces a new character, seemingly unaware of one another’s existences. I doubt they’ll all cross paths at some point in the game, but it’d be really cool if they did.
Oh my...this looks AMAZING!!!
I just realise that before carrionvoy's fight the train stops but then moves without the wheels spinning and carrionvoy's shadow never ends.
In other words the level itself is the boss or rather becomes the boss.
THat feels like someone made it who is a great Contra and Turrican fan, I love it
I love this concept of flesh infecting and fusing with metalic objects
It is an impossible thing, but it is so intriguing.
it's called bio-metal / bio-mechanic
@@voltapony75I've been looking for a term for that
Thank you
The soundtrack is AWESOME!!
0:12 Nobody:
People who put cellphones into microwave ovens:
0:18 ah yes, the worst kind of monsters: the people who steal your food from communal fridges at work
0:47 "Marty, you gotta go back with me!"
"Where?"
"BACK TO GO FUKK YOURSELF!"
5:54 in soviet futuristic tyrannical dystopia the train catches YOU!
6:40 *in Barney the dinosaur's voice* I love meat, and you love me 🎵
10:06 that one freeloader friend who comes up to take more pizza slices than anyone else despite being the only only who hasn't paid for it
10:15 people parking electric scooters just about anywhere in the way of pedestrians be like:
14:16 these roads are still in a better shape than country roads in Poland
Just realized the jeeps saws look like pizza cutters XD Dang that's quite a good joke there. XD
That crashing helicopter could be that one friend who just started playing Battlefield and either crashes out of inexperience or gets stinger-spammed.
@@AntipaladinPedigri Ohh I see. Tbh it was kinda timed a bit late but yeah, fits well too.
@@colonelrockrits9436 yeah, I get ideas for jokes after the scene passes and then I more or less guess where it was, because sliding the progress bar on a tablet is a pain
@@AntipaladinPedigri Ahh, I see, sorry to hear, just to wonder what meme potential this game can get heh.
I've always liked the old Arcadian style, but most of all I liked the flying police uazike (UAZ)!
Oh dude, gonna love hearing 8-bit drummer jam out to this sound track
"i bet it's rail-y good." omfg that's..i am speechless😂 The game looks dope, can't wait to play it
these graphics are so metal-sluggish, i love it
Iron Meat is just a DOOM and Metal Slugs Spin-Off with an extra Cool Cutscenes. Worth buying it
Сразу видно русскую игру! 🙌🇷🇺 Молодцы, круто! ❤
🤘😆🤘 (The Music F*cking Slaps)
And that boss was epic
