It seems like a skill problem to me as I have no problems even in full uptiers against phantoms to get 5 kills per game on average (I usually get around 6-7 normally) but I also attack ground targets so I let my less skilled teammates get a few kills while I roleplay as an A10 pilot. And honestly when attacking aircraft I prefer the lower velocity guns as it requires more skill and not many players can use them as effectively as I do. Dont believe me? The exponential downward spiral of the jet gameplay started when they slained 262 and most other starters by introducing f84g. After that the disease spread all over the jet br range. Used to be a fun game
It’s totally understandable to not like this plane. It’s my favorite because of what it is. I have a story... I was an amazing player stuck at low tier with a 60% win rate at 5.7-6.7 tanks and 4.7 planes, yet I used zeros and yak-9t/k’s to shoot down jets at higher tiers. I then got the 262 a1/u1 and didn’t know much of what was op or not at its tier, so I just flew and struggled. It was my first jet so I had time to learn, eventually I forced head on’s and became a great pilot with it. Only recently I learned to role play an A-10 and it’s even more fun. It deserves a lowering in Br back down to 7.3 or even 6.7 because of the poor performance, but it’ll be my favorite plane even if it doesn’t get lowered

Me-262 was good until it flew only against WW2 planes like P-80, Meteor or early F-84. Since bullsh*ts like F-89 arrived into WT and after they increased BR of Me-262 to 7.3 it simply became garbage plane which is pain to fly. This fighter was Gayjined thats all >>>> ALT+F4.

FM was probably better (faster), but mainly opponents were not so deadly as F-84G or F-89 with those disgusting rockets. In my opinion best universal figfhter in german tree is Ar-234 C-3, because it´s way faster than poor 262. Gayjin pretty f*cked German WW2 jet aircraft.
I still think the 162 is the real joke in the german tech tree. But ok, this one comes really close. Btw. maybe do an update on the G56, it is now quite a bit higher br-wise than the last time you made a video about it (was 5.7).

I basically just went headon with anything.. and then I met someone in ERRA squadron.. named Percy I think it's been like 2 years since i last seen him.. and he helped me so much with flying that jet.. that i became very aggressive pushing that jet to its limit and dogfighting anything.. like below 300mph (could have changed now) but you could deploy your flaps... it's how I fought any jet.. would bring min fuel with the s-21 rockets.. I have had a few matches where I got tunnel visioned on one guy.. especially with dogfighting a 163.. I've won a few of those.. then my pc dies.. I still know some tactics.. I'm just more passive aggressive.. know what to fight and what not to fight.. I still carry those s-21 rockets they do help a lot..
You want a plane that makes just about anyone lose their shit when they see you coming in? Try the J7W1 with its lethal set of 4x 30mm guns at 6.0 and show them p51s how to go zoom. It can dive from 6km, hit someone at mach .8 and zoom back up to 6km. It's nuts at high alt
I think this plane is just a boom and zoom and ground pound. I can rack up 4-6 kills by just side climbing to 5000m but once I start turn-fighting, it goes wrong.
By the time you reach 5k either half of your team will be dead or half of the enemy team will be, and before you engage someone you'll either be extremely outnumbered or you'll have almos no kills to get.
Its problem is that it can be taken to ground rb and anything that has MK 103 cannons automaticly cannot preform in air rb as it is balanced for ground rb. Sad but it is how it be.
Bruhhh you outturn 90% of planes and if you cant outturn something idk some japanes plane you can outrun it what do you need the tutorial for there isnt much more to explain than what I already said
@@Zuvaros Try to energy fight them by making them lose energy trying to turn for you and climb after you every time that you attempt to BnZ them. You can drag them to lower altitude if they dive on you, and then once you are both going fast, you can pull a sharp horizontal maneuver and then start climbing or pull a vertical maneuver that loops far upwards to try and make them either stall, or get on top of them and force them to go head on. Next thing you can do is dodge the head on and energy trap them once they’ve lost a lot of speed, or try to run away while climbing to gain altitude and separation before beginning to BnZ. I’d recommend watching videos by DEFYN or AdamTheEnginnered on Energy Fighting for more information and tactics that you can use. I’ve just noticed that for most Russian planes that don’t lock up hard when going fast, that you can do these kinds of maneuvers to make enemies lose speed and energy while still keeping your own speed and energy.
You could cover the MiG-19S, you did a video on the PT/J but the S isn't necessarily the same. Its a bunch lighter and has better performance over the latter.
Its a decent plane. Good firepower and decent climb rate. Just go headon with it. If you roll out of the way you can get multiple kills guaranteed in it
honestly wish the thing just has 2 mk103s with more ammo but having 103s, 108s, and 151s are just wonky theyre all very different velocities so its basically the meme of moonknight saying "random bullsh*t go!"
You have tried the ouragan already? Probably, as it is quite decent and as a 7.7 can even tangle with with mig-15 bis if they are not careful, since the ouragan's MER is suprisingly good. Other planes you could try would be the german 104, not very powerful, but quite survivable and fun to fly. As well as the a7m2 of the japanese, with it's airburst capable rockets, or the ju 87-d with gunpods. I'm not quite sure if you'd consider those planes as good, though the a7m2 seemed quite capable, to me, but I consider those, despite their drawbacks, fun to fly overall and take them out for a spin if I'm reminded of them.
This video perfectly summarizes my feelings to German 7.0-8.0. There's literally no counterplay vs jets of the same BR from other nations and people who don't play the 262 still think the it is somehow good and that Germany doesn't suffer. The only time I do good in the 262 is seal clubbing F2Gs

Irl it was out there sealclubbing propbombers. Hitting them was easy, so they needed high danage output. Thats why it has the pisspoor mk108s. High rof, high damge, slow velocity. Missing a bomber with them is rather hard. But it struggles against small abd nimble targets. It was just not made for this.
same thing with my love for the vautour, i do well in it and i energy trao j35s and harriers and stuff constantly with it, but its entirely down to player skill. if those guys didnt make a series of bad decisions i wouldnt get those kills. but thats why it so satisfying to drop 4-6 kills in a vautour in an uptier playing your cards right against enemies doing everything wrong. love the plane, its still not good tho lmao

I mean even tho the br is ridiculous I still like the plane now more than before. That airspawn does make it at least 60% better (what's not difficult bc it was total bs) and it gives you multiple opportunities. If you like to get some air kills, just load the air targets belt, if you like to groundpound sure hvap is a thing. Maybe it's bc it was my first 262 and it has grown dear to my heart, who knows. I like it anyway.

I researched it, and heh, gun tiering is completely useless. By that time I wasn't a big fan of jets and I didn't either know how to use a jet, but I still doubt about my performance on it-- both for plane's reasons and mine's
its not my favorite 262, but as a whole i don't think they're bad planes. far from good, but not bad, i personally prefer the C-1a (controversial opinion, i know) but i think if you can consistently do well, i don't think you can knock the plane too much.
Defyn if you want a suggestion for a good plane you havent covered: Ki-83 Youre probably backlogged with planes to covet already but its a great heavy fighter thats definitely viable, yet gets barely any attention because its a japanese plane that doesnt lead to jets
With how people play on the Asian servers right now, I can safely say this thing I better than I expected. I thought it was gonna get rekt by all the late cold war jets, but all I face are a2ds, the single f84g that ground pounds and the odd b29 that the whole team goes after. I just load the air targets, kill some a2ds, land and load hvaps and go for ground targets, pretty good grinding strategy imo

well if you are like me and you are at the end of rank 3 but you have researched america all the way up to rank 4, researched britain to rank 3, researched sweden to rank 2, researched the ussr to rank 2, and if you are tyred of trying to get to jets but being tired of props, well the squadron me-262 is the way to go, i currently have 65k experience left to invest, and a good thing it has done for me is setting a target, setting a target of 400-450k, i have always been in an sl chrisis, always having low sl and barely any sl and having a target to reach really made me grind, and i'm not saying 400k sl grind, no no no i'm at a million for that plane

He did, if you search his channel you can find and I-225 vid, i don't think it has changed significantly since the video came out. When it comes to Shvaks, they got buffed last time, to be more specific - the red shells got buffed, so just use the belt that has the most of them.
You can say plane is good when u are alone fighting in full uptier and still beeing able to win. Also constant good results are much better information about plane performance than 1 or 2 games with lot of kills

You want a plane that makes just about anyone lose their shit when they see you coming in? Try the J7W1 with its lethal set of 4x 30mm guns at 6.0 and show them p51s how to go zoom. It can dive from 6km, hit someone at mach .8 and zoom back up to 6km. It's nuts at high alt

I think this plane is just a boom and zoom and ground pound. I can rack up 4-6 kills by just side climbing to 5000m but once I start turn-fighting, it goes wrong.
By the time you reach 5k either half of your team will be dead or half of the enemy team will be, and before you engage someone you'll either be extremely outnumbered or you'll have almos no kills to get.

Its problem is that it can be taken to ground rb and anything that has MK 103 cannons automaticly cannot preform in air rb as it is balanced for ground rb. Sad but it is how it be.

@@Zuvaros Try to energy fight them by making them lose energy trying to turn for you and climb after you every time that you attempt to BnZ them. You can drag them to lower altitude if they dive on you, and then once you are both going fast, you can pull a sharp horizontal maneuver and then start climbing or pull a vertical maneuver that loops far upwards to try and make them either stall, or get on top of them and force them to go head on. Next thing you can do is dodge the head on and energy trap them once they’ve lost a lot of speed, or try to run away while climbing to gain altitude and separation before beginning to BnZ. I’d recommend watching videos by DEFYN or AdamTheEnginnered on Energy Fighting for more information and tactics that you can use. I’ve just noticed that for most Russian planes that don’t lock up hard when going fast, that you can do these kinds of maneuvers to make enemies lose speed and energy while still keeping your own speed and energy.

You could cover the MiG-19S, you did a video on the PT/J but the S isn't necessarily the same. Its a bunch lighter and has better performance over the latter.
It has marginally better performance and the playstyle stays the same, as DEFYN said, that guide can be applied to both.
Its a decent plane. Good firepower and decent climb rate. Just go headon with it. If you roll out of the way you can get multiple kills guaranteed in it
if you have to go for headons, thats a perfect hint, that the plane is shit :D

Probably, as it is quite decent and as a 7.7 can even tangle with with mig-15 bis if they are not careful, since the ouragan's MER is suprisingly good.
Other planes you could try would be the german 104, not very powerful, but quite survivable and fun to fly. As well as the a7m2 of the japanese, with it's airburst capable rockets, or the ju 87-d with gunpods. I'm not quite sure if you'd consider those planes as good, though the a7m2 seemed quite capable, to me, but I consider those, despite their drawbacks, fun to fly overall and take them out for a spin if I'm reminded of them.

This video perfectly summarizes my feelings to German 7.0-8.0. There's literally no counterplay vs jets of the same BR from other nations and people who don't play the 262 still think the it is somehow good and that Germany doesn't suffer. The only time I do good in the 262 is seal clubbing F2Gs

Irl it was out there sealclubbing propbombers. Hitting them was easy, so they needed high danage output. Thats why it has the pisspoor mk108s. High rof, high damge, slow velocity. Missing a bomber with them is rather hard. But it struggles against small abd nimble targets. It was just not made for this.

same thing with my love for the vautour, i do well in it and i energy trao j35s and harriers and stuff constantly with it, but its entirely down to player skill. if those guys didnt make a series of bad decisions i wouldnt get those kills. but thats why it so satisfying to drop 4-6 kills in a vautour in an uptier playing your cards right against enemies doing everything wrong. love the plane, its still not good tho lmao
I honestly understand your frustration. People nowadays get triggered so easily and they'll always jump at your throat because of the smallest thing, it's really unnerving. And yes, I totally agree with you, I've played both the 262 and the 84B and I have to say the 262 stands no chance. As always, wonderful vid!

I mean even tho the br is ridiculous I still like the plane now more than before. That airspawn does make it at least 60% better (what's not difficult bc it was total bs) and it gives you multiple opportunities. If you like to get some air kills, just load the air targets belt, if you like to groundpound sure hvap is a thing. Maybe it's bc it was my first 262 and it has grown dear to my heart, who knows. I like it anyway.

its not my favorite 262, but as a whole i don't think they're bad planes. far from good, but not bad, i personally prefer the C-1a (controversial opinion, i know) but i think if you can consistently do well, i don't think you can knock the plane too much.

With how people play on the Asian servers right now, I can safely say this thing I better than I expected. I thought it was gonna get rekt by all the late cold war jets, but all I face are a2ds, the single f84g that ground pounds and the odd b29 that the whole team goes after. I just load the air targets, kill some a2ds, land and load hvaps and go for ground targets, pretty good grinding strategy imo

well if you are like me and you are at the end of rank 3 but you have researched america all the way up to rank 4, researched britain to rank 3, researched sweden to rank 2, researched the ussr to rank 2, and if you are tyred of trying to get to jets but being tired of props, well the squadron me-262 is the way to go, i currently have 65k experience left to invest, and a good thing it has done for me is setting a target, setting a target of 400-450k, i have always been in an sl chrisis, always having low sl and barely any sl and having a target to reach really made me grind, and i'm not saying 400k sl grind, no no no i'm at a million for that plane

When it comes to Shvaks, they got buffed last time, to be more specific - the red shells got buffed, so just use the belt that has the most of them.
