- Hey everyone! In this EU4 video, the boys decide that the HRE has to go, and that we need to dismantle it completely for the game to continue. Easy, right? Well, I won't spoil anything, but the short answer is absolutely not. As always, the HRE proves to be more trouble than it's worth. In any case, hope you enjoy the video!

The HRE really had plot armour for no apparent reason this game
They didn’t have plot armor, I just have shitty aim
@TheBigSal The reason Saxony broke the alliance was the negative relations from the AE you got from truce break. If you waited for the truce to be over, you would have dismantled the HRE, since Saxony would have stayed loyal.
Edit: I just saw that comment about electors needing to be at war with the emperor to dismantle, which is wrong. You only need to ally them.
@@steven5683 Yeah I realized that during editing lol. I was worried at the time that the alliances with the electors would break though.
I will not take criticism for not liking bacon by people who failed to dismantle the HRE twice

@@nicholasbaca8065 Yeah for me EU4 is supposed to be fun bullshit map painting game with fecal humor friends, the last thing I want is to sit with the game paused for 40 minutes because 9 different nations all want the province of Poopenfartenheimenflaten.

Fun fact: even if Saxony didn't break the alliance with you, you wouldn't be able to dismantle the empire anyway, the electors whos capitals you dont control need to be in the war with you on your side.
No they don’t unless that was changed recently

It’s called Fast Universalis. My PC is a potato with a lightbulb in it so I like to optimize the visuals as much as possible.
Why did you not just Attack Trier the first time around and occupy Wien after Austria came to their protection?
