Just a correction for the part about Bohemian history: Bohemia didn't actually lose its king at battle of Varna, as Wladyslav III. ruled over Poland, Lithuania, Hungary and Croatia but not Bohemia. Last Bohemian king before the interregnum was Albert II. Habsburg, father of Ladislav Posthumous. After Albert died in 1439, the Bohemian nobles tried to push for several different candidates for the crown (Frederick III. Habsburg, the Holy Roman Emperor, Albert III., duke of Bavaria and Albrech III., the Elector of Brandenburg), but none of them was willing to take it up, probably because being the Bohemian king meant dealing with the whole Hussite insurgency. The interregnum lasted until Ladislav Posthumous was old enough to take the throne in 1453. After he died in 1457, the Bohemian nobles elected Jiří (George) of Poděbrady in 1458. Yes, I am fun at parties.
Great video, looking forward to try this out before the Paradox fixes it!
Poor bohemia rejected by everyone
@@aluminiumknight4038 "Bohemian crown? Nah, I'm good, I don't want to end on the business end of a wagon fort."
And it wasn't particularly a walk in the park of Jiří either, because he had to fend off Catholic nobles, who asked pope Paul II. to excommunicate him and proceeded to elect Mátyás Hunyadi as a sort of an antiking. This is one of the reasons the Bohemian crown went to Jagiellons after Jiří's death, as he promised to make Vladislaus II. Jagiellon his heir in exchange for Poland's support against Mátyás and Bohemian Catholic nobles, who sought to depose Jiří and install Mátyás in his stead.
This has lead to a bit of a amusing peace deal made between Mátyás and Vladislaus after Jiří's death, as both Mátyás and Vladislaus kept the title of the King of Bohemia but only Mátyás had to address Vladislaus as such.
After Mátyás's death, Vladislaus also became a king of Hungary, so this whole silly affair came to an end.
@@jirisykora7346 the jagiellons almost became as strong as habsburgs became after
Man I'd be talking with you at the party tbh, history before hoes my man!
So what you saying is nobody wanted to be bohemian ? *flies away*
Great video, as always, but without Ludi's face there's something wrong🥺
He is just filming it while being naked
@@mzapysertewer3633kinky
@@mzapysertewer3633 no, he’s wearing a leather jacket made out of every subscriber’s wallet so he’s worried someone might call the police. He really doesn’t want to end up in Romanian jail with Andrew Tate.
i miss that stache
That was my first thought when i started the video. But soon after i was laughing like always, the intro is great.
FYI you could have given Zemplin to Poland, release Nitra as a vassal and then ask the Poles to return it for favors. It's very useful for expanding when you have high AE, just give your allies all but one province of a country that has cores, release said country as vassal and then use favors to get the rest of it.
Nice, I'm going to use that, never thought to use it specifically, it will make HRE a bit less painful.
Ngl thats big brain! I should have thought of it
Cool trick, but not for Nitra i'd say.
Not only you spend extra diplo points, but you also miss the extra gold income. Also, i believe that you need to own Nitra directly to unlock the next mission.
@@LudietHistoria Paradox games in a nutshell, 2000+ hours in and you still learn new things..
This is like watching one of the old ludi videos. An old style for an old exploit
Hey Ludi, Don't know if you noticed, but Unified Ireland got a unique government type now which works in a very interesting way. Just wanted to mention it, have a great day.
My favorite thing to do with this exploit is okay Japan. Every daimyo turns into a feudal nation, but ashikaga keeps its gov type (I think?) either way, every Japanese nation doesn’t take up a diplo slot nor do they fight each other.
Hello Ludi, thanks for another great video. Cheers from Czech Republic!
I can't see ludi. where is he
Big Brain Ludi.
I am just a classic player who get hussite emperor after religious war - Peace of Westphalia
I just love your videos, Ludi
Thanks, I've enjoyed this video, even I haven't played EU this year yet. Live long and prosper Ludi!
This video remind me when i was i'm vacations in 2020/21 (south hemisphery) and i discovered ludi's videos. The way he make it, without the face, and the editing style. I don't know, just nostalgy
YES YES !!! I wanted to play hussite bohemia for so long, but not being able to become emperor discouraged me, Thanks Ludi!
The other way it can be done is to release a vasal right at the start. They pop out husite. You keep them as a vassal while doing the normal emperor things. Once you get the reform which gets rid of elections, you can annex that vassal, trigger religious rebels and convert to husite. It does take longer to become husite, but you probably do the reforms faster since you have no heretic princes (like you would if you were husite and they are all catholic). If you go this route, it's better to revoke the privileges before converting though. It's harder to get them to agree if you are a heretic and you can force religion on them right away.
An ancient achievement with the ancient way of making videos ❤
Oooh new bohemia run from ludi. Definitely worth a Czech it out)))) khekheke
I do enjoy the various date exploits. It is a fun way to spice up the 1444 start date and still have achievements enabled.
This video feels like an AI made it
i agree rofl
he's finally automated his youtube account, AI Ludi voice synthesiser, chatgpt script, ai generated eu4 footage
It feels like very old ludi videos
Feels like watching old video
Man Im just see on 10:57, you just vote for Austria, its not a big mistake in your run, but in games where Koln and mainz is rivals, this funny fact will makes you a little trobles to take the HRE lider chair. Dont forget to say about it in future games. Good luck man) Very informative vid
Great video! Love it!
12:30
YES WE WOULD LIKE A VENICE VIDEO
I saw Bohemia and had to come immediately
Kheb was the temple planet in Stargate. it is CHeb. the first sound as in loCH (Scottish lake).
And VáClav. as in baTS - definitely not a K sound.
(that´s Czech, just some extra pronunciation rules)
also, poSZoNY. SZ as in viSion. NY ass in caNYon. no vowel at the end.
(that´s Hungarian, I kinda get that it seems counterintuitive if you are unfamiliar with the language)
I like your work, Ludi. But as you are both a fellow Central European and multilingual you can put in some effort ;-)
This video feels like it is incredibly old and you forgot about it, but you wanted to post it anyway lmao
My dear Ludi
Greetings from Leipzig in the kingdom of Saxony. We are proud to be your vasalski.
As a Czech I absolutely love how you pronounce "Jiří"!
Or how he pronounced Václav
you'll never be able to change my mind on 2nd tier gov reform. compromise is now far more better choice
Why is that?
Exactly, depending on your starting situation, either compromise or curtail are the better options since you're not even gonna use much manpower early game, you're going to use mercenaries so what's the point
I think you need to make the like goal harder. If we get 5000 likes in the first 30 minutes of this game coming out I will give everyone an autographed photograph
This sounds like those presidents playing minecraft but with Ludis voice
Actually because Köln has strategic interest in most of HRE, i like to ally them playing in Hre because they are willing to help in 98% of wars if u give them land but when u finish war and sont give them anything they are not angry at all
17:14 That is me
Whenever you say: since the launch of Eu4... It sounds so distant in the past that even the ice age seems like it occurred yesterday. 😂
With the exploit, France became an empire, England lost its government type and Ashikaga's daimyos can't fight.
Bohemia king dont die in battle od Varna. In battle od Varna die Polish and Hungarian king Vladislav III. In Bohemia at this time was regency and king was Ladislava postmangus (in EU IV starting heir of Austria) after his dead Bohemian noble elektet husite noble George ( in czech Jiří) od Poděbrady as king his portrait is on the special goverment reform BOHEMIAN ELEKTIVE MONARCHY. I know it becose I am Bohemian
4:29 disappointed that Ludi didn't go for the option that says "We will be loyal to Rome".
Chat GDP is slowly taking over this channel.
The exploit also works to instantly get rid of French Feudalism, and some countries that are Kingdoms in 1444 become Duchies (Korea, for example)
Oh yeah, French empire in 1444 is quite something
imo, bohemia is the best at PUs, because my first playthrough with them, i got austria, hungary, poland, lituania, as PUs, and the funny thing is, i converted them all hussite, so about a fifth of europe was already hussite and i was force converting more hre nations
Hussite Bohemia was my 1st and the only WC, very fun indeed
A run as Venice sounds great!
Bohemia didn't lose leader at varna, ladisalu of varna (wladyslaw III of poland) wasn't bohemian king
I recommend to read Hussite Trilogy of Andrzej Sapkowski( Witcher writer)
3:01 - That's actually incorrect. You are probably mistaking it with the other event, when very young Jagiellon ruler of both Poland and Hungary died fighting Ottomans in battle of Mohacs 80 years in the future.
This time, however, Bohemia is lacking a ruler since the de facto ruler since the death of Sigismund of Luxembourg. There was a 2-year period when Albert of Habsburg kinda ruled and now Bohemia's king is actually Ladislaus, who has never reached the adulthood.
He is actually also claiming to be king of Hungary. Paradox decided to leave the little lad out, cuz if he were to survive he would have got the whole inheritance of Sigismund + inheritance of Habsburgs. That would have made him the most powerful person of his age (arguably) and that would completely change the course of history.
Woah no Ludi face it's a throwback! All we need is the anime thumbnail.
Nice video but we need 100% more of ludi's face in the next video!
Legit had to check the game start screen at 0:08 to see which DLCs were enabled as this has major Lubi in 2020 vibes xD (thats not a bad thing!!)
3:30 Basel isch szene
It was pretty common Václav.
Hussite Bohemia is perfectly balanced with no exploits. this was the same exploit to convert all your Daimios in Japan to regular Vassals.
Does that still work?
@@ryanb2607 not anymore
How about doing a homage to the Tatars and see how far you could get from Crimea?
Once in my Aragon to Spain peasant republic run AI Bohemia get Hussite and this also happens to HRE.
Ludi being passive aggressive about a bug... That's a new one
My first successful run was a Hussite landlocked bohemian absolutist monarchy. My goal was to stay landlocked but still grow.
Okay, thats useful for "Triple the Rome"
Triple the Rome achiev could work with this method?
good old Timeskip glitch
This is the use the 1700 start sate, but then manually type 1444 in the start date right?
Well, you didn't need to call Poland in until you had troops in Hungry but hey, let's blame R.N.Jesus.
i wonder reformation will trigeer if you play as non chritsian country and convert most of hre as emperor because sometime in mods if there are few critsian country and they are converted to anynon chritsian religion then reformation didnt triiger till 16 hundreds and after it i didnt continued the caimpaigen
To trigger the reformation you need Catholics. If you somehow convert most Catholic nations before 1500, the reformation will not trigger and you will stay in the Age of Discovery until 1600 when global trade appears.
Standard reminder to EU4 players that 10 production is only the ideal development for gold mines if you don't value diplo at all relative to gold. The ideal changes based on circumstance, but you wouldn't know if you watch too much RUclips
Venice video would be awesome
Did they not change it so that kingdom rank nations always have interests in their entire culture group? And since Köln is an arch-bishopric, they are kingdom rank.
Therapist: Thicc Serbia isn't real. Thicc Serbia can't hurt you.
Meanwhile, 19:04 ...
yes a a video on venise could be great/interesting. North node is so better...
Who are you!! WHERE’S LUDI!!! YOU ARE A PRETENDER!!! I AM FREAKING OUT!!!!! HOOOOOT!!!
Honestly I feel like Venice is kinda op, they always pop off and their power rivals ottos; even before 1.35. Maybe that's just me but yeah, they're almost as strong as ottomans at their peak
I remember that pulling this exploit out was impossible during a long time cause the game crashed if you went back in time during the country picker.
love this scubidabidibius video and waiting for 2nd part and by the way love the exploit but its not fun to use exploits regularly
if you are wondering there are tons of more explotits to cheeses the game and missing ludis face
wow i must have done this exploit on accident when i played as france once because i had cores in louisiana 😂
I kept feeling that something was missing....
It was your face....;^;
Your carelessness not RnG caused the Poles to occupy Zemplen. RnJesus can't shoulder all of your sins boy.
Love from Denmark
Ngl you actually right xD i should have send units there before i called them
@Ludi et Historia I should maybe also mention, to soften the blow so to speak, that I am a long-time fan of your channel, and love the content.
I always got confused when I could choose my Tier 1 gov reform
No way this still works that’s actually so broken😂
Do the same glitch as Japan/ shogun and all your daimyos will be vassals with no relation slots taken.
I want this to go on!
Ludiii, where are you bro?
I ate him😊
Ludi without face? whaaaaaaaaat?
Misions on Saxony and Brandenburg get rid of malice if u have them as vasals or did they changed this?
Yes Ludi, we want a Venetian run
I may not enjoy eu4 but when it's Bohemia sign me up 😂
Czechs and Slovaks are basicaly the same people.. alright Ludi you made a lot of enemies today. Especially in Slovakia… because we Czechs are not so triggered about it as they are 😂
venice vid pls ❤
Seems like an old ludi video
Is it working on Serbia ? It will be perfect !
Man you keep making first parts but no 2nd parts
Ludi my love, in 1.35 best top 3 mission tree?
The electors vote for me but after a time they dont ... help
Sees title of the video.
Me - Oh I love some wibbly wobbly timey wimey exploit nonsense.
in 3:00 u use picture form serbian batle not varna
Living in Coburg atm, appreciate the Indepence.
with this exploit, what happens during the religious war? does it cancel it or no ?
Btw no way they'll fix the exploit, they already said they quitted trying to fix bugs related to changing the start date before starting the campaign
You ok Ludi my lad?
*nice-*
Boys shhhhmashhhh that like button
Ludi, next time please let us know John Cena is going to be a stand in
This exploit is still in the Game? Its almost 3-4 years old
it reminds me some say, it is not a bug, it is a feature.
Bohemia number 1 !!1!11!🔥🔥🔥
Based Bohemia, my homeland
