    I'm nowhere near perfect, but, I'm trying to chase the one who IS perfect. I'm not the hope, but I'm trying to point you to the hope that is in Jesus. I want to live a life that is worthy of imitation because of the way Jesus is working in me.

    ⚡️ Can you relate? What’s something you’re currently navigating in your faith journey?

      I can relate to not bringing myself 100% to my prayers, and what I'm currently navigating is being truly devout to God and not straying in thought and in action from his will.

    2023 I hit rock bottom so I thought at this point I might as well ask God for help. I was crying, I was my worst self at every level. The response was: "now I can hear you" and a feeling of the warmest embrace I ever felt in my life. I'm a Christian now 🙏🏽

    Thank you for the reminder! I loved when you said “He is safe.” I do come to Him with everything but I noticed I was very fearful and wanted to run instead of remembering that He is the one that works these things out in us that are ugly to us.

    It works for earthly relationships, but she first said this to me about prayer. 🙏🙏🙏

    Actually we ARE to clean ourselves. The thing to remember is we cannot clean ourselves BY ourselves. We can come to God “unfiltered” BY claiming the blood of Christ. Without acknowledging the painful shameful death Jesus died as a sacrifice we risk losing the motivation to not sin and to take our sins lightly.

    But God doesn’t hear my prayers. So why should it matter how I approach God?

    • @JaredKauffman
      @JaredKauffman  3 месяца назад

      He knows you, he loves you, he hears you! I can relate to what you said in a way. I feel like I’m in a season of waiting, so oftentimes it seems like I’m praying but God is silent. This article may be helpful! www.gotquestions.org/does-God-hear-my-prayers.html

      @@JaredKauffman why does everyone assume that the things I’m praying for aren’t in accordance with God’s will? Besides, how can I ask for something in accordance with God’s will when there is no way to know what God’s will is?

    • @JaredKauffman
      @JaredKauffman  3 месяца назад

      @markantonelli53 such great questions! I still often wrestle with the question “how do I know God’s will?” The best answer I can give is to read His word, and to know what he says in it-especially the four Gospels. Keep asking those questions and searching for answers to those questions!

      @@JaredKauffman why? It’s not like I’ll ever find answers

    • @Onlison
      @Onlison 3 дня назад +1

      @@markantonelli53 I humbly submit to you, that God is omnipresent friend. I think sometimes instead of asking him, listening is maybe the secret sauce. So in essence, yes, The Bible would be your first point of listening to Him and understanding His will.
      I find that instead of prayer in asking for things, blessings, doors to open or close; I have more success in this “I’m not saying I understand anything that I’m suppose to do here Lord, but the path I think I should take is _____, I would like you to sit down on the roadway and block it if it’s not your will, or direct me through this_____. I wish I knew, but I don’t.”
      If you’re a father, imagine what you’d find acceptable from your child coming to you.
      If you’re someone’s child (we all are), imagine how we went from questions as young children, to as adults “having the answers”.
      When we approach our Heavenly Father, sometimes we forget we are his children, and instead of having the answers we’re better off remembering our places and just asking the questions.
      God bless 🙏

      @@JaredKauffman I’m not a guru so don’t take what I say as your local reference Bible, alright?
      I’m an editor, composer and I really enjoy watching people’s content. I have a lot to go through on your channel.
      Constructive feedback… leave em. Naturally you will improve your dialogue and you’ll start learning to hold single conversations with your audience that have next to zero ums or uhs, but you’ll never get there if you hide them from yourself. Believe in the power of God right? He gave you a voice, and a heart bold enough to follow Him. Never hide who we are.
      Couple pro tips: the straight cut is Hollywood, it’s original to that industry. But when do we use it? Take your reference from Hollywood, it’s a transition (camera changes angles, scenes, etc) Now that sounds simple for a movie, but this is RUclips; when is the “correct” timing here? For that we need to downgrade our standards, look to the news (like News, news) you think RUclips is popular? The news knows their stuff! They adapted the straight cut to a “pop up” so, in essence, hold your dialogue for 5-10 seconds if that’s all you can get, then your “transition” is a straight cut to a pop up and your dialogue becomes voice over during that pop up.
      Don’t look to other RUclipsrs; unless what style you’re looking to mimic is RUclipsrs.
      Find the source of where people are successful in their businesses that have been around for 60-70-100 years; and look at the methods they use, and why.
      Your fantastic. Keep up the good work.
