Why does God only help some of us and allow others to go through things not of their choosing that cause misery? Even when we ask and accept him ?

Last week I decided to remove all connections with my old best friend and her girlfriend. I removed their numbers from my phone, unfriended, removed and unfollowed them on FB, IG and Snap and deleted all of my posts with them on IG it felt very good because I am working on finishing my associates this year and they are now RNs and I don’t need the stress of not hearing from them to impact my last year of my associates, and I’m also figuring out my post associates plans as well. It’s been a long time coming and I’m glad I decided to do it. I feel good about it

I'm always encouraged by your videos, young man. You are wise beyond your years. May we all find comfort in knowing that God knew the mistakes we would make before the universe was created. This includes what WE may believe are mistakes in our prayers. We can't mess up. Speak from the heart, knowing that the Holy Spirit is there to speak to the Father on our behalf, uttering things we would never be able to say on our own. Satan would have us believe we can mess up our prayers. "Were you thankful enough?" "You only spoke for 15 minutes to God? Isn't He worth more than that?" Pray without ceasing. This could be, "So grateful for the parking spot closer to the entrance, Father God. Thank you!" It honors Him. I shall pray that God keeps you and your family as you navigate these stormy waters (health-related). You are in His grip!

For me with the fall semester starting next week I’m so excited for it. But this fall there is a student who was in my math class last semester who had a falling out with another student in our class because of what happened with the math final she treated my friend so badly and I know I should be willing to not let her get a pass for how she treated the student, but she’s become like an older sister to me. So it’s fine.

One of the most amazing things to me about our God is that if He places these desires in our heart, He will make those desires a reality. He has placed the desire in your heart, Jared, to be more grateful. You can rest in the TRUTH that He will guide you to become more grateful. I'll say a prayer that the blood work comes out fine. God is already there when you get the results. Whatever happens, He will see you through it. I won't ask you to keep us updated on such a private thing, but know that you're being prayed for, little brother. :)

Im 25 and i have been too scared to read the old testament my whole life because I thought I would see a condemning side of God that would cause me to walk away from my faith. But some recent devastating events and Gods' hand in my life has led me to become unexpectedly fearless in the pursuit of spiritual knowledge. I cant quite explain why, but I found it really motivated me to read the bible with another person that knows more about God than I do. So I can ask that person questions and grow in my relationship with God because of that person.

It’s easy for me to miss acknowledging how God is providing and shaping me in the season I’m in. Whether that’s the busyness of life, stress of work, or the doom scrolling on social media, things are so fast and I imagine they’ll only get faster as I get older. But, when I make space to watch a sunset, or spend quality time with a friend, or put my phone aside and take in what’s around me, I find myself saying “wow God, you’re so beautiful. Thank you for this moment in time.” It’s those moments that I’m reminded of the beauty of God’s creation, his consistent presence, and his unending love. What’s something that God is doing in your life that you can see the beauty in?

Been reflecting on this a lot lately. Galatians 1:10 is a good reminder that I need to live by. It’s so easy for me to live based off my own opinion of myself rather than God’s opinion of me. What about you?

Brother Jared, I just want to let you know that your videos give me hope for the future. As a man in my late 50s, I would be lying if I told you I don't have concerns over the future generations. Regardless of what society would have us believe, the world is getting darker, uglier, and at times very frightening. I just want to encourage you, little brother in Christ. You are very brave and so courageous in your integrity. Hold onto that and never let that go. I pray that you and your generation of believers remain strong as the tribulations will intensify. I'm always so impressed with your ability to call on specific verses on command! :) Your video resonated with me. I'm sometimes very humbled when I realized that praying is a PRIVILEGE that God gives us and yet also a RIGHT as His children. Growing up in the Catholic faith, I was afraid to approach God. Yes, we should fear God, but this wasn't a healthy fear. It's only now in my 50s that I realize that God is our Father and also our Papa (Abba) and that He WANTS us to come to Him with our requests, but also our gratitude and praise. Much like a law of physics, GRATITUDE and WORRY cannot exist at the same time in our minds at any precise moment.

One of my friends I met this past semester who has really helped me with becoming a great new friend after losing connection with my old one honestly has kind of felt like she’s an older sister figure because I don’t have any siblings. He has a younger brother, who is a couple of years younger than me And she’s really good for me as a friend. She’s five years older than me. But I’m glad we met and she’s helping me stay motivated for my 5K training and weight loss. She’s been really good with helping me understand that there are more important people out there than my old best friend and her girlfriend who have left me and that friendships drift away and grow apart.
