I have a new 2 way remote coming for my CA6554 system and I was told to program start the vehicle, press n hold valet for 10 seconds til you hear 3 chirps and then press the unlock button on remote. Is this correct or is it press and hold unlock until it chirps?
For my model A7777, the process was actually slightly different one way and 2 way remote. For 1 way remote, you cycle the key on and off 3 times. 4 2 way remotes, you cycle the key on and off 4 times. So you do them both separately. This was all detailed in the instruction manual PDF.
A. PROGRAMMING TRANSMITTER: Note: This mode will only retain the last 4 remote transmitters programmed. If the transmitter memory is exceeded, the security system will start deleting transmitters from memory in chronological order. 1. Turn the Ignition 'switch 'OFF/ON' 3 TIMES and stay in ON position. Within 15 seconds. 2. Push the Valet switch 3 times and holding in on 3rd push until a long chirp is heard then release the valet switch. You are now in the Transmitter programming mode. 3. Press and hold any button of the transmitter until the siren responds with a confirming chirp, indicating the signal has been stored into memory. 4. If you have additional transmitters (up to 4) that need to be programmed, repeat step 3 for each
Any advice in getting around the anti-theft system? This remote starter is able to turn on my engine but it shortly turns back off and displays the anti-theft dash symbol.
I Just installed 1053 system, I cannot get it to chirp for programming modes, instructions are not clear, I didn't hook up car horn and I expected chirp from box. is that right?
ok I installed the CA670. The keypad I have is the 1 way. I can get into the programming (3 chirps) but it doesn't detect the transmitter has learned after pressing a button. I am not sure in this is locked (the manual says something about RF programmer, or if the antenna got mixed up but its not working. I believe the module is good but was wondering if I might be missing something? according to everything I find online the 1 way remote I have is the correct one, and the RF programmer I read about shows enabling of either 1 way or 2way so even if they changed it to 1way shouldn't it still program? If you could look into this for me I would be appreciative as I am thinking during storage I might have mixed up the antenna but this is the only antenna I have that matches and looks like the images online so I am thinking I am doing something wrong during programming. I have installed and done several code alarm modules to be sure its right but stuck on this one

Luis Martinez sure, relearn the remotes, and fill all 4 banks to be sure its gone, you may have to learn in 2 remotes twice to do this btw...
