Wow, I wasn’t disappointed thanks for the heads up this morning you have certainly made my lunch more interesting and we shall be taking a detour on our NC500 later this year - stunning 🤩. Looking forward to my cycle commute home later as in my head I will be doing some more planning :)). Thanks again, love it from Rural Lincolnshire UK
Ha, great stuff - you made it over... it's defo worth a detour (IMHO) - get a pic at the lighthouse and you can join the Cape Wrath Fellowship, the age-old (CTC, now Cycling UK) loose club I recently updated the cert/patch for :) Stef
Inspirational stuff! Really awesome video. Can’t wait for lockdown to be over so I can start my bikepacking journeys. In the mean time I will just gather what kit I need. Keep bike fit. And watch more epic videos like this 🔥🔥🔥
A beautiful part of the World which I think is hard to beat.... I feel like I cheated now though as I went by motorbike! 😆 Will now have to look at train timetables when this current madness is over and oil up my cycle! .... thanks for sharing 👍
Took my son on a bike trip to cape wrath 12 years ago when he was 14. For the next 8 years he reminded me how awful it was for him.. Now he’26 he keeps asking me when the restrictions are lifted can we go cycling to Cape Wrath 😎.?
I took a young lad on a few similar challenging trips in Scotland - carrying bikes over boulders & wading through rivers - "Character Building" I told him ! Not always fun at the time, but always unforgettable memories and wanting to do it again. Have a great trip.
Beautiful footage well done on the adventure guys, not a cyclist but really enjoyed the film, have walked to the Cape sampling John at the lighthouses hospitality and back via Sandwood Bay, would love to go back maybe by the track this time.
Brill! Our original plan was to follow the trail down to Sandwood Bay, from the lighthouse, but if you've hiked it you'll know why we changed our minds :) Stef
@@panniercc Hi Stef, thank you very much for your answer. I have just discovered your channel/site. It is awesome, really. I hope that I can join your events when this whole pandemic will be over. Un abbraccio!

Love this. Gonna try and do this when lockdown is over.
👊🏼 Definitely should. Make sure to join the CW Fellowship, with Cycling UK, if you do! Stef

Left wanting more man!
Lovin how you cats roll
👊🏼
Great wee adventure guys 👊🏻😎
Looks like a perfect adventure! Nice one, fellas. May retrace your route.
👊🏼 Do it! Can easily extend what we did, or venture further off-road. Or both. Such a good playground, from Lairg station :) Stef
Stephan looks like a guy I worked with, scaffolder from Rostock, and funny enough his name was Stephan.
Lovely video.
Nice one. Made in 2016, but always only had a home on Vimeo...

@@panniercc haha yes, stunning day on the way up, lashing down all the way back next morning, knee deep in the bog, our dog wasn’t enjoying it :-)
How many miles and elevation total on the 3.5 days ?
really a pretty nice video. And only 230 views. :-(
Hey Arne, nice one :) It is actually a film we made a while back, and it has been on Vimeo >> vimeo.com/187849031
Awesome video. Do you reckon a MTB would be better suited for such a trip?
👋🏼 Walter, not for the route we did. But, yeh, an MTB in northern Scotland opens up a lot more tracks and trails. Depends what trip you're after! Stef

Would like to try this, but I don’t have a steel bike or a beard
😅 Start growing now, and you'll be good/ready for a Cape Wrath trip in autumn :) Stef
@@panniercc sounds good you’ll recognise me because I’ll be the only one with a Scottish accent
Great video.
