Nah depends. Only do this if you're playing a really really good game like Elden ring. Most great games flopped, imagine skipping school to play dragons dogma2.
My parents were the type to say "if you're too sick to go to school you're too sick to play games" and would literally take my games and lock them in their room until I finished school the next day 😂

I think they burned me out early as a kid. For the first 6 years i had in total 3 days i missed in 6 years i was always there and i did all the homework as i had to go to this place after school to finish everything before i was allowed to go home. I had the best grades everything was wonderful and then from the 8 grade i began missing school, smoking weed and stuff. And i didnt get better as we had some kids older in my grade and niklas had a car in 9th or 10th grade and we would go after second or first break and take the car to the waterpark and spent the day there. We also had a mcdonalds on the other side of the road and would always skip school there and eat shit and the teachers would do the same which was always weird when you knew the werent allowed to be there but we where not either. At some point we would just smoke shisha in a launge from MCD. After a while my math teacher broke the shisha we would take to school because he was fucking mad LOL. Sometimes i wish i would just have kept up with school stuff and not do the barre minimum to get through.
