Just wait some time. I have the idea that whatever mark of success that a celebrity has will manipulate them to their downfall. Now imagine: a server full of kids, a golden play button, a big reedit and discord fanbases, all making him want to do the unthinkable. That guy is a time nuke.
Here's the thing about the Furry fandom; Anthropomorphized animals have a massively wide appeal, especially to kids. It also has the appeal of anonymity. It also has the appeal of self expression; there's no one idea, belief, or anything that furries fall under, every individul person will be just as unique to another furry as a non-furry would be to any other non-furry. It's not a fandom, it's just a common interest in a niche, broad topic, rather than a self-contained idea, belief, or work. But, there comes the problem. Anonymity, Self-expressionalism, and a higher appeal to younger demographics. I love the community, I love my friends who are furries, I love the cute characters and silly personalities, but sadly the fact that furries are and always will be a very good tool for grooming children is a dark cloud that will never go away. This isn't the fault of anthro animals, it's the fault of individuals who abused a common interest with children to then abuse said children. This common interest can be anything. And nobody should villify that topic or those that share that niche interest for the actions of bad actors. Parents, let your kids express themselves in a safe environment. Whether that be furries or trucks or superheroes or dolls or whatever, bad people will abuse anything to do bad things, and keeping them safe involves not allowing them into those dangerous situations with dangerous people; i.e. no unrestricted internet access. As for the bad actors; Just as any individual person regardless of personal interests wouldn't condone this stuff, neither would a mass majority of furries. Nor is it reasonable to expect those individuals to take on the responsibility of actions from those they have absolutely zero association with; you wouldn't call every artist in the world a degenerate just because some people like to draw horrendous shit. Those bad actors deserve the INDIVIDUAL punishment they recieve, and nobody else should have to take any punishment due to some arbitrary association of an interest that has no connection to the bad act / crime. Everyone can do better here, be informed, and stay safe out there, seriously.

Fair, my personal take is let people feel comfortable with who they are, just don't let them do stuff to other people/animals that shouldn't be allowed. Personally tired of every 8 yr old having this black and white perspective on every situation.

As someone who is in the fandom, I am ashamed by so many people in the community doing these things. It's in every community but people seriously need to say a simple word, "No". I've been in games and have been harassed for just having a tail and ears. I do wish some people would stop attacking innocent furries in games. The worst part about the whole Brook Nook exposure made me confused. Literally everyone I was friends with was in that discord server and I never once thought about Brook Nook. All I knew is that he was popular and everyone I knew on discord was in his server.

Hey, this is Creaco writing (the new owner of the community at the moment). It is quite a shame, I have to agree, that so many messed up people from the Furry Fandom on Roblox happen to be pedophiles (or other kind of messed up people). There is nothing to defend really.. it's just a fact. Sometimes I wonder how we can combat this kind of stuff. The internet is a really messed up place and it's a shame that so many messed up people just end up being in the fandom and this bad light falls on all of us. I personally really love my community, and I hate how my previous best friend (Kentucky, the groomer) ended up doing this, it's really really disgusting and put a lot of stress on me (literally everyone going into the game and bashing on me and my staff, getting really rude messages, trying to calm everyone down and trying to save this community I worked on so much, the bonds I made and every friend I made) I REALLY (AND I MEAN IT) hate this so much. I'm trying to prove that our community is good and we put a lot of effort into moderating the game to make sure things like this can't happen, and I really and truly find what Kentucky did disgusting, I really wish this all didn't happen and it was some kind of bad dream. I put so much effort, and I just, I really like everyone in the community I'm part of, but people just ruin it all and idk man.. From my personal experience, @creacowo is a trustworthy, genuine solid pillar of The Brook Nook community who is doing his best to improve relations and growth within the entire furry community. However it it important to note that with one person's actions which certainly inflicted harm within said environment, Creaco and the moderation team have been swift in the past to take action and be supportive when they're notified about someone feeling uncomfortable. despite everything a step backwards means he and The Brook Nook team will be taking 2 steps forwards to ensure a safe, secure and comfortable environment for all of the people that decide to join TBN

Creaco, the owner, commented under this video, and he’s been in the team for years, he is a completely different and way better person. As for the situation, Kentucky has been reported to the authorities (from what we’ve been told so far).. and his parents have been contacted as well. As a member of the furry community, there are lots of awful people, but that is the same with a lot of other communities.

As a furry, I can confirm that there's a huge problem in our community. Sadly the bad people in our community are represented way more and nothings done about them like you said. I make chubby to fat characters but I don't talk about that on roblox. I play roblox because I started it at 14 and it's fun to play with friends. I got plus size avatars but those are just packages sold on the market place and not fetish related since that shouldn't be on roblox. I hope there's something being done soon about the general groomer problem on roblox.

Kinda wish it was that simple, just age lock games. It isn’t hard to just make an account and put a fake birthday, and nobody is advocating for verifying if the user is a kid via some ID that i know of. Another issue rises from the fact that most of the ill deeds happen on third party platforms (ahem, discord), and roblox really cant do much to change that… perhaps removing the need of it could work but that would require actual effort and hearing people, which roblox has historically failed in recent time

After seeing so many of these polemics all i can say is. You can't just call a game bad by pointing at something that some members did and what the ex owner, that did the correct thing of leaving for his sick and honestly horrible behaviour, i play this game alot and i really haven't had much bad experiences, usually the most annoying ones are the haters themselves, but i have no reason to call the game itself and 99% of its community bad, also people in the coments always reply with "the community is rotten to the core" or "i would be surprised if a furry wasn't like this or like that" or something along the lines of that. Its sad to see so many people doing completely sick stuff alot of the time, but i encourage people to be realistic about the actual numbers, see the furry fandom is a community that is bigger than most people think, from what ive seen o would estimate atleast 6+ million members (*important note, the source you may find in google or searching may say 1-3m, but this comes from a study in wich they asked furries how many furries they thought existed around the globe, but its by no means accurate, because it comes from word of mouth and especulations, also, being a furry is often seen as gross by alot of people, so a surprising ammount of people hide it making it much, much more difficult to estimate an exact ammount*) And you can, and should expect people commiting crimes and being horrible in the community, specially coming from an outsiders perspective or "news" channels, that get more views by showing the bad stuff over and over again. Again, i would like to remark that i'm not defending anyone involved in this acusation with proof, including Kentucky, the ex owner of The Brook Nook, who shall not be forgiven until its proved that he got the correct treatment for his sickening behaviour with minors, but what am i trying to get to here, is that the furry fandom has its problems, and they are very real, but its extremely easy to exagerate and call everyone bad by just pointing a finger at everyone in a group when only 1-2 people did something bad... in my opinion, as someone who has played roblox for 40,000+ hours, and has been in the furry fandom for six years now, that the roblox community is not "rotten" or is "full of predatory and weird people", nor the furry fandom is "ruined" or "just a bunch of weirdos and dogf****ers", both have their black spots and horrible people, but its not as bad as people tend to paint them as just to get a bigger impression. I've been in the furry fandom for 3-4 years, and I 100% respect everyone's opinion to us, as long as they don't bully the innocent and young furries (including me). But zoophiles, groomers, pedophiles etc.. They don't belong in the furry fandom at all. As much as I want to stand up and take action about stopping these people, I can't. But, I do hope all this crazy drama stops and the furry fandom can just be some happy place where all people are welcome (but those people ofc). And yes, to others you might say, "The furry fandom is weird", "It's hunting season", "If you act like an animal, we'll treat you like animals". Like y'all are not funny. Yes, the furry fandom is weird, but you don't realize that other fandoms are weird too, and you're specifically targeting one community of people. As a normal, SFW furry I am, unfortunately, not surprised. A lot of us are not weirdos or freaks, but either a large portion or a very loud minority (tbh, even I can't tell which) are very open about NSFW topics. A lot of the ones I know who are open about those topics do their best not to expose minors to that content, however, like every community, there are bad actors. So, it'd make sense for the ones who are openly furries on Roblox, a place full of children, are either exposing children to inappropriate things, actively going after children, or are minors themselves. It's disgusting to think about, and despite the fact that a lot of people have begun seeing furries in general as a group of degenerates going after children and animals, I can't even blame them. When there's a more vocal part of our community being open about NSFW content combined with people doing stuff like this, we definitely aren't making a good impression on people outside the community.

I once joined a therian game and I saw a dude who was probably around 20 years old, asking for someone's phone numbers, including me and some minors around 11- 12 years old as well, he also mentioned about creating a private roblox groupchat for them. But luckily I told the minors not to trust him and therefore they didn't accept his friend requests, that guy left the game in shame and disgrace after I talked to the minors about how he could possibly be a groomer. He was trying to bring up the stuff "He is a therian hater so don't listen to him" in order to defend and justify his actions, but he failed miserably. I don't remember his name and I don't have much time to go after him so yea. If you are into this case, I wish you the best luck. The game when the incident happened was Lost Therians Reawakened on Roblox. I doubt that he is also lurking in some therian games out there with low player counts, below 100 possibly

At first, all I've known is that the furry community was supposed to be a wholesome community built around people dressing up as anthropomorphic animals. As well as role-playing as them. The issue with the fandom resides on the lewd stuff, I believe there should be a more active discouragement for kids to be even touching that, not promoting lewd-related/implied memes in non-nsfw subreddits. There is a real problem of this being more normalized than in any other fandom, and this may make teens furs to think that these depraved actions are okay and that could be a reason that creeps want to blend in here 💀

Here's the thing about the Furry fandom;
Anthropomorphized animals have a massively wide appeal, especially to kids. It also has the appeal of anonymity. It also has the appeal of self expression; there's no one idea, belief, or anything that furries fall under, every individul person will be just as unique to another furry as a non-furry would be to any other non-furry. It's not a fandom, it's just a common interest in a niche, broad topic, rather than a self-contained idea, belief, or work.
But, there comes the problem.
Anonymity, Self-expressionalism, and a higher appeal to younger demographics.
I love the community, I love my friends who are furries, I love the cute characters and silly personalities, but sadly the fact that furries are and always will be a very good tool for grooming children is a dark cloud that will never go away.
This isn't the fault of anthro animals, it's the fault of individuals who abused a common interest with children to then abuse said children. This common interest can be anything. And nobody should villify that topic or those that share that niche interest for the actions of bad actors.
Parents, let your kids express themselves in a safe environment. Whether that be furries or trucks or superheroes or dolls or whatever, bad people will abuse anything to do bad things, and keeping them safe involves not allowing them into those dangerous situations with dangerous people; i.e. no unrestricted internet access.
As for the bad actors; Just as any individual person regardless of personal interests wouldn't condone this stuff, neither would a mass majority of furries. Nor is it reasonable to expect those individuals to take on the responsibility of actions from those they have absolutely zero association with; you wouldn't call every artist in the world a degenerate just because some people like to draw horrendous shit. Those bad actors deserve the INDIVIDUAL punishment they recieve, and nobody else should have to take any punishment due to some arbitrary association of an interest that has no connection to the bad act / crime.
Everyone can do better here, be informed, and stay safe out there, seriously.

As someone who is in the fandom, I am ashamed by so many people in the community doing these things. It's in every community but people seriously need to say a simple word, "No". I've been in games and have been harassed for just having a tail and ears. I do wish some people would stop attacking innocent furries in games. The worst part about the whole Brook Nook exposure made me confused. Literally everyone I was friends with was in that discord server and I never once thought about Brook Nook. All I knew is that he was popular and everyone I knew on discord was in his server.

It is quite a shame, I have to agree, that so many messed up people from the Furry Fandom on Roblox happen to be pedophiles (or other kind of messed up people). There is nothing to defend really.. it's just a fact.
Sometimes I wonder how we can combat this kind of stuff. The internet is a really messed up place and it's a shame that so many messed up people just end up being in the fandom and this bad light falls on all of us. I personally really love my community, and I hate how my previous best friend (Kentucky, the groomer) ended up doing this, it's really really disgusting and put a lot of stress on me (literally everyone going into the game and bashing on me and my staff, getting really rude messages, trying to calm everyone down and trying to save this community I worked on so much, the bonds I made and every friend I made) I REALLY (AND I MEAN IT) hate this so much.

However it it important to note that with one person's actions which certainly inflicted harm within said environment, Creaco and the moderation team have been swift in the past to take action and be supportive when they're notified about someone feeling uncomfortable. despite everything a step backwards means he and The Brook Nook team will be taking 2 steps forwards to ensure a safe, secure and comfortable environment for all of the people that decide to join TBN

As for the situation, Kentucky has been reported to the authorities (from what we’ve been told so far).. and his parents have been contacted as well.

As a furry, I can confirm that there's a huge problem in our community. Sadly the bad people in our community are represented way more and nothings done about them like you said. After seeing so many of these polemics all i can say is.
You can't just call a game bad by pointing at something that some members did and what the ex owner, that did the correct thing of leaving for his sick and honestly horrible behaviour, i play this game alot and i really haven't had much bad experiences, usually the most annoying ones are the haters themselves, but i have no reason to call the game itself and 99% of its community bad, also people in the coments always reply with "the community is rotten to the core" or "i would be surprised if a furry wasn't like this or like that" or something along the lines of that.
Its sad to see so many people doing completely sick stuff alot of the time, but i encourage people to be realistic about the actual numbers, see the furry fandom is a community that is bigger than most people think, from what ive seen o would estimate atleast 6+ million members (*important note, the source you may find in google or searching may say 1-3m, but this comes from a study in wich they asked furries how many furries they thought existed around the globe, but its by no means accurate, because it comes from word of mouth and especulations, also, being a furry is often seen as gross by alot of people, so a surprising ammount of people hide it making it much, much more difficult to estimate an exact ammount*)
And you can, and should expect people commiting crimes and being horrible in the community, specially coming from an outsiders perspective or "news" channels, that get more views by showing the bad stuff over and over again.
Again, i would like to remark that i'm not defending anyone involved in this acusation with proof, including Kentucky, the ex owner of The Brook Nook, who shall not be forgiven until its proved that he got the correct treatment for his sickening behaviour with minors, but what am i trying to get to here, is that the furry fandom has its problems, and they are very real, but its extremely easy to exagerate and call everyone bad by just pointing a finger at everyone in a group when only 1-2 people did something bad... in my opinion, as someone who has played roblox for 40,000+ hours, and has been in the furry fandom for six years now, that the roblox community is not "rotten" or is "full of predatory and weird people", nor the furry fandom is "ruined" or "just a bunch of weirdos and dogf****ers", both have their black spots and horrible people, but its not as bad as people tend to paint them as just to get a bigger impression.
Roblox should make its moderation better because ive seen some weird shit in there
And the furry fandom is just your average fandom, consisting for 99.9% amazing people and 0.1% of degenerates, it will forever have an adult side and honestly people should be ok with it, 1 or more mature adults that can consent, can do wathever they want in the room as long as it doesn't harm 3rd parties and THEY KEEP IT IN THE ROOM GODDAMNIT!

I've been in the furry fandom for 3-4 years, and I 100% respect everyone's opinion to us, as long as they don't bully the innocent and young furries (including me). But zoophiles, groomers, pedophiles etc.. They don't belong in the furry fandom at all. As much as I want to stand up and take action about stopping these people, I can't. But, I do hope all this crazy drama stops and the furry fandom can just be some happy place where all people are welcome (but those people ofc).

As a normal, SFW furry I am, unfortunately, not surprised. A lot of us are not weirdos or freaks, but either a large portion or a very loud minority (tbh, even I can't tell which) are very open about NSFW topics. A lot of the ones I know who are open about those topics do their best not to expose minors to that content, however, like every community, there are bad actors. So, it'd make sense for the ones who are openly furries on Roblox, a place full of children, are either exposing children to inappropriate things, actively going after children, or are minors themselves. It's disgusting to think about, and despite the fact that a lot of people have begun seeing furries in general as a group of degenerates going after children and animals, I can't even blame them. When there's a more vocal part of our community being open about NSFW content combined with people doing stuff like this, we definitely aren't making a good impression on people outside the community.

I once joined a therian game and I saw a dude who was probably around 20 years old, asking for someone's phone numbers, including me and some minors around 11- 12 years old as well, he also mentioned about creating a private roblox groupchat for them.
But luckily I told the minors not to trust him and therefore they didn't accept his friend requests, that guy left the game in shame and disgrace after I talked to the minors about how he could possibly be a groomer.
He was trying to bring up the stuff "He is a therian hater so don't listen to him" in order to defend and justify his actions, but he failed miserably.
I don't remember his name and I don't have much time to go after him so yea. If you are into this case, I wish you the best luck.
