Great advice! You had me laughing at "scratch maniacs". As a seasoned vinyl turntablist I can tell you that most folks come to dance not watch a DMC battle routine. Keep it simple and keep your scratches rhythmic....less is more
I have a Pioneer DDJ RB and I love you Videos and your Videos are Inspired me. Sorry for my Bad English i am not English i‘m From Russian but i can a little bit English you are the best DJ. 😊😊😊
Wow, if I'd play a gig one day, this would be the way I would like to play it! Mixing music and add some scratch technics, love your content man, you're a big source of inspiration
You make it look easy, you make it sound easy. I used to be able to do the basic stuff with vinyl back in the 90's when I started, but now I've come back to mess around as a hobby and to enjoy I find it really hard to master jog wheels. My set up isn't thousands of pounds which would probably help but my latency isn't bad yet I just can't do it. Thank you for all your vids!
The less you scratch, the more better it is. Sure, scratching can be repetitive based on your preferred way but it's also good if you can make every scratch count. I would prefer this video as a tip; but for beginners, it's also one of the good skills to learn. BTW, as usual good video DJ Carlo 🙂
Great tutorial idol, i really like this channel because you always make dope tutorials, vlogs, and mixes, thanks for this tutorial you are so awesome idol 😁😁🙌🙌🙌
Your an inspiration as well. I used to dj a long time. I had my techincs 1200. My babys which I still have by the way. Everything else I got rid of. I walked away from it (almost 15 years). After seeing your videos, and you stating at the end of your videos about everyone is a dj and post stuff up online has given me the urge to get back into it. Little by little, I'm getting my setup. Once I get all situated, I will be posting online. Once again, thank you and keep them videos coming
i love this video! can you make a tutorial the scratch out technique during a transition where you scratch a part of the outgoing song until the vocals of the incoming song comes in. thank you
Great video! I think it would be even more dope to switch up between scratching and beat rolling! It definitely brings a great variety to the performance!
Dj Carlo you are so amazing! I love all your videos. I am having trouble with those advanced scratches.. can't seem to be making any progress and i'm feeling to give up..do you have any tips on HOW to practice?
Wow this is like a new type of technique...quite unique and fresh..Wow Thanks again Master....really really dope..technique...its very much harder now but very much certainly rewarding and even make the crowd...say "What, how is it possible..." xD Thanks again Master//
Can anyone tell me what the name of the third scratch is? First was a baby scratch. Second a chirp. Third I can’t figure out. Either way, I need to learn that scratch.
Hey first off I love your content. It is really helping me grasp what being a dj is all about. My question for you is that if you have an opinion for what controller I should get because I use djay pro 2 on mac. I only use it for the spotify integration. I am definitely all for going to serato later on in my dj experience when I get my own music. Any advice for controllers around 250$?
Hi DJ Carlo Atendido Can you Upload a video on how/what you are doing in Crossfader in the part of this video 0:35?i really want to know how you do that by scratching Thank you🙂
Hello, DJ Carlo! Your content is great! I am your 30th like. I bought DDJ-SB3 controler. How do you get that beat counting lines on Serato? It is important for me. I hope you answer soon!
When you want to scratch in any type of genre (Deep House, house, reggaeton, disco, etc) you always need or its preference to use an acapella sample? Or when you want to use another song to scratch you take a voice sample in the song?
Thanks sir dj Carlo 😁 What is your settings or buffer speed settings? Coz i have a little bit of a lag or latency on my serato while scratching on my sb2 😅
I seriously want to DJ. But I prefer calling it the wheels of Chill. My uncle Rick helped me how to create my own slang to call my equipment. I prefer to scratch lines of a verse from a rapper.
YOU DID IT SO CLEAN...LIKE HELL I CAN DO IT TOO....BUT ITS SO IMPOSSIBLE,,, VDJ automatically resets the Pitch and Goes out of Beat Match...Feel like Screaming Out...and then tapping on crossover 06:16-06:18 ...feel funny on myself :'(
Practice practice practice. There is no secret recipe to instantly becoming a DJ. Dedicate your time to it and keep up your practicing. I started just 5 months ago and have just scratched the surface of the fundamentals. All I can say is do not get discouraged, no matter what negative things you hear from others. If music/DJing is a passion of yours, GO FOR IT!!!
everytime i put content out youtube mute my video for copyright!!! and NOBODY WANTS TO HELP . how do i put my mixes up without getting muted by youtube copyrights??? that would be the best help you could ever do to me . thank you soo much for AMAZING SICK VIDEOS

Glad this one answered your question!
Kudddam...this is soooo lit...
I like it but, you we can get the tracks you've used for free and they are not?
Great video an explication but I feel more faster than the others, I talk about the comments written in the video

so hard 😫✌🤙
It only seems hard at first! Practice will make it much easier!

Just got an SB3. Only recognized in Serato Lite and Virtual DJ. Serato DJ Pro doesn't recognize it. So sad now😭
DJ Carlo Atendido It's working now. I downgraded from Serato Pro 2.0.4 to 2.0.3 and it's working like magic. Thanks
Thanks bro😗😗😗
The last part was fuckin sick
@@djcarlo I would say im a beginner bedroom dj and I want you to know ive learned so much from you. You made djing so fun for me. Thank you
@@djcarlo plus I have an SB3 like what you use in the videos so I feel right at home
Thank you for the Video. Why you always use the sb3 at the moment and not the ddj 400? Is the sb3 better?
@@djcarlo thx for reply. I Just cant decide which one To buy. Therefore i asked. :(

Which genre would you prefer for scratching besides hip hop which genre has mostly drum drops?

Can you make a video about songs "key"? You know what i mean (A, Ab,Abm,Am, B...)
correct me if im wrong but it seems like your letting the acapella play for 11.5 beats before you start scratching
