I am so delighted that you showed the HD9. I've started making bags in the last couple of years and although my wee Janome QXL605 does most of my bags ok, it does struggle a bit, particularly with bulkier fabrics like faux leather. The HD9 is definitely the one I have been eying. I just have to save my pennies and pounds first because it's an expensive bit of kit.....but I will hopefully get my hands on one some day. I noticed when you used the leather that you still kept the narrow foot on instead of the actual leather rolling foot. Would you recommend changing the foot to the roller foot if you were doing a complete bag in faux leather or does the narrow foot do just as well? Thank you so much for sharing this machine.
