Cooper I'm certain it wasn't a racoon. You would of heard it they are not quiet. A coyote however could snatch a chicken quick with little noise and then leap that fence with ease. If you have coyotes around I would add two more feet to that fence.

You need some dog proof traps. You can order them online, or they sell them at Bass Pro Shops if you have them in your area. Put them all around the fence line. You fill them with dry dog or cat food. The racoon sticks his paw in and it grabs him. It's the only thing I can come up with to save my chickens. I bought several of the Have a Heart style traps from Tractor Supply and all I catch is squirrels and the neighbors cats. The dog proofs work very well. I shoot them in the head with a 22 caliber pellet gun and toss the bodies into the woods. Twice all I caught was a paw, he either ripped his leg off, or chewed it off.

It looks like an "Oklahoma Air Purifier". Cheap, 20" box fan with a pair of 20"x20" furnace filters taped in a V-shape intake using a cardboard wedge. I do this to deal with forest fire smoke, but just slap a single filter on the intake side of the fan & place in the window.
People on Reddit think they are reinventing everything. All air needs filtered now - we learned that from COVID. SO you can build a box, or triangle out of filters, and tape the fan in on one side. All the air is filtered. Does it need filtered? I mean... How did we survive to this point?

Get some better safe places for the chickens to live and hide in that the predators can't break into. Set up some decent 4k security cameras with audio and the auto/person detection and a NVR box to run them so at least when something happens around your property you'll see and hear what happened clearly. You can even set them to send alerts to your phone and watch them remotely on it too. At least you'll see what happens and can adjust accordingly, or if anyone tries to take your stuff. I have a 4k security setup and if anything happens I just scroll scroll through the appropriate cameras to see and hear what happened and decide if it's serious enough to do anything about with audio video evidence.

If you have chickens, you WILL attract predators. It’s something you have to accept with being a chicken owner. You’d need at least an 8 foot fence with no trees or shrubs near it they can climb.
Lol. I have a 6' vinyl fence and they climb it somehow. I have to trap them to protect my chickens. I also have a hawk problem so they can't free range without a baby sitter. I have netting over their run and the hawks will sit on the fence posts watching the chickens, and they freak out and hide under their coop.
