- Are you sick and tired of that old carburetor acting a fool?! It might be time to switch to EFI. And that is just what we did to Jim’s 83’ C10 squarebody Chevy. We installed an Edelbrock Pro Flo 4 XT, which is a self learning system. Combine that with a Holley in tank fuel pump and you’ve got yourself a dang near bolt on EFI system that will give you many years of service.

Love the picture on the wall
Just the video I needed for whats next over here. Thanks.
Awesome! You’re welcome and thanks for watching! Good luck with your project!
The good thing is, if you know what you're doing, you can cut back your wires to size, crimp some new terminals on there, and reassemble the connector for a cleaner look. Thinking about putting this setup in my 70 C10. Great video. Thanks for making it.
My new drivetrain will include a big block with the "carb" style Pro-flo system. This video is encouraging as it gives me confidence that my install should go smoothly!
Right on ! Take your time and read the instructions and you’ll be just fine!
Great video, thanks!
You’re welcome and thank you for watching!
Good job.
Thank you !
Did this square body have duel tanks? If so, how do you wire the two pumps?
Stroke that SBC to 383, and go LS hunting. Good job and very Informative
He is already scheming for more HP. 😂. And thank you for watching!
pops will never be happy. always be striving for something better haha@@CovertsShop
is that the darke blue truck he had before the 4x4
@@miked19831988 different Jim. This was a customer truck. But yes he is always looking for that upgrade lol and he bought back his old blue square.
Brother what’s the part # for the throttle body dual tube I love the set up with the filters and I’m also having trouble finding the thermostat housing that clears I have a 383 stroker
The tube is a Corvette piece and we added sections to them. Thanks for watching!
I have a 1967 C10 that has a 1969 small block Chevy 350 from a Camaro in it I'm thinking about doing this to the motor.
Nice!!! Where did you get your upper radiator brackets?
I’ve got a 96 Tahoe I’m wanting to do away with the spider injectors would something like this work?
It should work well on you Tahoe. You would have to get a transmission controller
what do you do about the throttle cable and tv/kickdown cable on the opposite side of the intake? is it as easy as just putting it on the other side?
Yup. We bought a longer cable.
Bud I’m installing a pro flo 4 xt system we’re you get the dual air filter tube at
The y part is a corvette piece. The rest we made
I bought the same setup. It took me over 6 months to receive it after my purchase . I still have to rebuild my vortec block. I want to cam possibly 383 stroke it. Did the directions have the timing degree for a stroked 5.7 ? Im just being lazy. I did not go through the paper work yet.
It doesn’t have specific timing values based engine size. You’ll have to experiment with what the engine wants for timing.
whats the anti freeze leak at the thermostat
I believe the the thermostat housing was leaking a bit. Pretty typical small block Chevy 😂
Where can i purchase that Corvette style twin air intake that drops like yours?..i have a 84 c10
We made this one. We could make you one as well if that is something you would be interested in
So I have the pink ignition wire running to a toggle switch and I'm using a walbro gsl392 external fuel pump.when I cut the ignition switch on it does not prime for 8 seconds.it just keeps going, does not cut off.what am I doing wrong?
How much hp will it support
I believe this one is good for 500hp. They sell bigger injectors for different power levels
@@CovertsShop thanks for the info
@@woodrowdelozier1you’re welcome
This system will work with a 1st gen 350?
Yes it does
@@CovertsShop nice!
