When Riff Raff shoot Frank, Columbia run to Frank and take the shot, shielding him. The movie version is not very clear of this. Frankie is not grateful at all for her, because his response in stage version is "You take the shot for me??? What a stupid bitch."
She may be actually really loves Frankie, like she said "Don't you understand? I love you. But you are like a sponge, you take take take but never gives". But maybe her love for Frankie is a much darker one, for her song at Floorshow is "Now the only thing that gives me hope | Is my love for a certain dope". That can mean she figuratively admire Frankie like some kind of drug, or more darker than that, she is drugged by Frankie to the point of obedience/addiction... Combine that with her bubbly and cheerful persona
Nevertheless, maybe sh is under Stockholm Syndrome. But also remember when they are forced to dance for the floorshow, it could also the demonstration of Frankie's mind control device. Brad can't control his own body, then succumb to the sexiness. Maybe the mind control also serves as some kind of emergency reset button, erasing anyone resentment against Frankie. Well, except Riff Raff and Magenta

Even though she's great at singing, the Columbia kind of let the performance down since the original was so much more high pitched and gentle.
