The DYU D3F is GREAT. It's tiny and perfect for a quick run around that can go on the bus or into the office or your flat. But why is everyone saying it's the smallest or cheapest electric bike on Amazon etc when the actual smallest and cheapest electric bike is sold by the same company! In this video we review the DYU D3F and compare it to the even tinier DYU S2, the actual smallest and cheapest ebike on Amazon.
BTW I LOVE all the channels that have said the DYU D3F is the smallest/cheapest.
PLOT TWIST - There is probably a smaller and cheaper ebike than the DYU S2. There has to be. But still....

How’s the bike been for you so far? My commute is 20 minutes by bike in Manchester so I’m thinking of getting this aswell
I bought 3 DYU D1 no pedals in 2016 and still use them every day. I had one flat and had to replace the battery because I ruined it by riding it a long distance in the heat. I love them and everyone who sees it loves them as well.
I use my D3F to exercise my dog... Monday to Friday in the morning, 1h ride on cruise control for me and one hour run for him.
Comfort upgrade a cheap seatpost with damping, kept stock seat. Not using it when it's raining, damp sure.
I do like 120km a week on my D3F, you do the math over a year, still happy riding it as on the first day. It's been trashed and holds up.
The tiny one would be great in a big city ,easy to get on a bus or train then off you go ,I care not if I look like a clown 😂 anything is way quicker than walking 🤠👊🇬🇧💯🙏🤟

In the States that's called the Jetson Bolt and it's 398.00 on the Zon. Almost bought one. The decision came down to what would fit best in a shopping cart, even with part sticking out, so I went with an E-Scooter. Security is the point. It's a city by city decision. Good to see the vid. Thanks!

It's not the Jetson Bolt, But it is for all intents and purposes the same ebike. I'm not sure what different tweaks there are between them if any, But it's very common place that so many of these cheap ebikes are made in the same factories with same motors in China or Taiwan and business customers buy them to sell on, usually with added tweaks of their own.. and personal paint work/decals.
Would be even cooler if could fit bigger handle bars and peddles n 12 inch wheels on the s2 🔥🔥
Had one in our shop when it left the guy was happy 48v system 20a controller with M5 programble LCD 23MPH

How long do you charge the battery?
I charge until the charger shows a green light, but when I turn on the bikes it shows only 2 lines after 5 hours of charging.
I try long charge over 11 hours but only 3 green lines.
What range do you get on the larger version just using the throttle?

I don't see why not. The d3f that is with the bar surround
great little bike for commuting around a small village, ideal for Guernsey, at least not far to walk if the battery runs out of juice.
Yeah i use mine to pop to local places quite a bit.
@@e-VRC I'd have one but a 200 yard 20deg+ hill climb is on my usual route. 48V 20AH mid drive minimum for me. Shops though are too close to warrant 500 quid.

Superb bike but never fold the handlebars and you will never have any issues with it!

Enjoyable video but it won't get me replacing my ZINC VELOCITY PLUS just right now.
As I understand it, the model 3 is sold as the Jetson Bolt Pro in the US. And an even simpler version of the model 2 with just throttle and no pedals is sold as the Jetson Bolt.
Cheers! I've seen the no pedals version. So weird how taking off pedals classes it as a scooter.

Can I use it for food delivery. I am not regular delivery driver. I use my delivery id everyday 4/5 hours and my driving time is only 2/3 hours everyday

Can you just disconnect the throttle? I had a himo Z16 far superieur to this 1.
But you could just disconnect it.....But then pedal assist....goes only to 15KM a hour, witch is real slow...then it get stolen....Fantastic bike tho especially dor the €480 i paid.
But i need a new 1 , wanted this 1 original and if the throttle can be disconnected....then i need this 1
You can although i didn't notice a simple plug. Pedal assist speed is similar to throttle on this one but on the s2 pedal assist is a lot slower.
