If you have lived there in the PHILIPPINES for 13 years, your kids should have been proficient in speaking English. They need to play with LOCAL children every day and I can guarantee you that in a couple of weeks they will speak Visaya and English so well. Maybe you have sheltered them so much in the past. Jelina’s children learned so fast by just playing with the local kids. Just a suggestion ❤

The best way to train them English language , is to let them start reading English, and speak English with them within the household. Gradually they will adapt with that slowly. Also now they have a teacher to teach them english, having a blackboard would beneficial for them when the kids are seeing the English words on the blackboard . Kids can adapt easy to remember the words and the sentences structure in English language.

the kids will have a hard time speaking English if they don’t assimilate or play with local kids, you should encourage them Valentina, its for their own growth and they will appreciate that for sure

The papaya fruit is small due to several reasons 1. Varieties of the papaya 2. Water availability 3. The tree is very tall. You can cut the papaya about 2-3 feet from the ground and the papaya will grow back just cover the cut portion so the water will not enter the truck because it can cause the tree to rot. And just allow only one branch to grow because there will be plenty of

Bisaya actually has many languages not one, the number 1 most spoken Bisaya languages in Mindanao, Cebu, and Negros is called the Cebuano language. the 2nd biggest Bisaya language is Hiligaynon spoken in Negros Occidental, Iloilo, and parts of Cotabato, the 3rd biggest Bisaya language is Waray language spoken in Leyte and Samar. If you wonder how the Cebuano language became the majority language in Mindanao is because of early migrations of Cebuano
speaking people from Cebu. The biggest Cebuano speak wave was the Philippine resettlement program, on March 10, 1953.
