Opportunity Knocks !!
Marengo Warehouse and Distribution center includes almost 300 ac +/- in which 58 ac has been developed underground into 13 individual warehouses . These average 100,000 sqft each. Four of them are freezer units that are used for frozen foods. Some of the storage facilities are dehumidified as well. There are several other income streams for this property including a home and phone tower lease. Some of the benefits of having the storage underground are no heating or cooling bills since this stays between 55 and 58 degrees year round. No maintenance on roofs and exterior ect. Several government and state contracts are included in this sale of the property and business. Please reach out for more details and videos of the facility . This is a solid business that has been operating for 30 years with so much room for expansion as well as mineral rights for the remaining limestone quarry . Located in the heart of the MidWest just minutes from I-64 and less than 45 minutes from Louisville Kentucky and close to several larger cities (St. Louis, Cincinnati ,Indianapolis, Evansville, Lexington , Nashville, Chicago, Detroit) . The property has a 50 car rail spur on site but would need to be improved prior to being used.

30 yrs ago we rode our Harleys into these old caverns. Party all weekend. OMG how things have changed.
Lol, the sky is the limit.. you mean the cave is the limit.. Super cool
So they have emergency MREs for us in Texas. Interesting development.
@Guy Morris ; Good day Sir, did you know a Lela Mae Morris by chance?
Not for us - Just No.
Nice video. Music is a bit loud.
Nice bunker... I wonder how it will hold up when the big one hits New Madrid/Wabash seismic zone 👀
I don't think it will do well . I dought it was created with that in mind .
It has survived all earthquakes since it was created in the 1800’s
Or how would it hold up to a mile wide meteor strike?
Good video, but please get someone who knows how to mix audio, the music was way too loud, I was adjusting it constantly
This is pretty cool.
Picked up a load here. It’s nice 👍
To dam close to that new Madrid fault for me . I call it a death trap
Earthquakes do not affect caves or underground systems. They only affect the earth's surface. Seems counterintuitive, but look it up.
Music and volume changes made it unwatchable. Too bad.
Well, thanks, TEXAX, for storing MY FOOD for me for post-SHTF!
It's not like the trucks are going to be running to Texas. You've just bought food for all us southern Indianans.
Thanks!
He never said the food was going to Texas. This food is for lower level gov leaders and staff when SHTF. You're on your own.
Let us know when that starts moving.
@@loafandjug321 nah the gov will round is up into underground Walmarts. Look that up if you can
@@therobot1056 Greenbrier Resort
Great just what I always wanted
10 dollars an hour let's go!
Did this sell ? I drove by it yesterday. Looks like a unique property.
Walmart has one too.
It is not a cave, it is an abandoned quarry, and aren't all caves underground?
i would be claustrophobic in that underground cave.
I WANT IT SO BAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Read the novel 48 Hours Later.
There are several of these, they are stockpiling tons of food t keep it from people who need it but now t stays at n here! This is why we have such a shortage
Negative.. food has been stored there for disaster relief way before the pandemic, which has no effect on current food supply shortages.
For dairy products like cheese you are 1000% correct.
Murica has literally miles of mines fulla cheese. Which they refuse to distribute to the hungry for free.
That mine cheese is being held to maintain the prices *you* pay for that food. The Food that your tax dollars already paid for.
Much efficiency. Such cow.
VERY IMPRESSIVE, HOW DO YOU CONTROL PESTS LIKE RATS?
Ppl from Fb and offerup will be messaging "is it available" then low ball the price. It will be exactly half of offered price since thats the only math they can do.
Design fault. Why have freezer engine rooms above ground? In SHTF, like after an EMP, CME, or nuke strike, you may find the above ground engine rooms will cease working, causing all frozen food to be lost. Put the engine rooms within the underground facility.
Yeah so the exhaust fumes kill everyone?
So, my question is: in times as they are, WHY ARE YOU SELLING THIS GEM?
For that very reason!
The owner is ready to retire.
Are you hiring for the warehouse area's?
What about air Quality?
Air quality is tested and seems to remain good.
How does someone get a job in there?
We have a Ollie's store here and has just about all Walmart has.. and cheaper. I stay away from walmarts as much as,possibly. LOWE'S HAS BETTER QUALITY GARDENING SUPPLIES.
Where's this.caves located cali, mights be a good.ideal, also might'nt be saved its.could..co...
Was Day of the Dead filmed there?
Where is the fault line ?
No but the fire down below was filmed here.
Perfect hide away place
The techno music between moments of talking is annoying as hell.
Sooooo why would your customers want their food products stored and not just brought straight to them?
Don't think Im getting the entire tour here..
Food is stored for fema and milaitry
Jeremy this is Jeremy I want to buy this place. Let me know
26 million
beautiful .I live in Wisconsin we ha quarries. Now all this took BRAINS to become team work and create all this. TODAYS EDUCATION, is producing mushy brains, This has been going on for several decades now..
When SHTF everyone will know where to go for all that food stored there.
Lol a cave in Indiana.
I want to go to the cave system where you store all your excess government cheese.
Just get by the Bradly with the 30 MM cannon.
It looks like the government could get it really secure and use it for civilian detention during upcoming martial law. Thick limestone walls might prevent any type of sensing equipment from getting any kind of locations of targets.
Get with the program! Goog the conversion of old military bases to concentration camps...
Ain’t gonna be any civilian detention - why would the government want to gather up a bunch of hungry trouble makers and have to care for and feed them?
great satanic idea
Lol you *already* have the largest prison population on planet Earth.
SHTF Food supply. Need Armageddon Condos for those wanting to spend decades underground.
12 degrees Celsius? Right? I don't see any steam from his mouth.
lol no steam coming out of mouth at 12 CELCIUS
@@paulbienvenu5494 I just meant, if he said 12 fahrenheit, than it was below freezing point, and steam from the mouth must came out. And he was dressed lightly. So It was Celsius. But he measured areas in feet.... So I am confused
It's a FOOD PAN TRY
I heard these stories, many times and it'snt no big deals also been a theres many yrs, but there's a catches, no oxygenation
This cave system has a serious air-handling problem.
Stupid freaking music in this video. Massive turn-off for a realtor trying to get something sold.
Always louder then the speakers volume.
no problems with air handling. there are several air and exhaust handling units .
Where are good is plus joey could put us there 😡
How can you sell it when there are companies still operating in it? I know for a fact AGRANA has a warehouse in this cave & they haven't shut down that i know of so ? How does that work
