This happened to be true for a lot of my classmates from other places. What made this? The people and the local culture. Having lived in CQ for 14 years I spent much of my free time exploring and blogging about what I found on various English language forums so I appreciate what you've managed to cover in such a short pithy video. Well done.
    Just a comment about the population though.... Chongqing is the name of the municipality annexed from Sichuan in 1997 which includes the capital city of Chongqing and multiple second and third tier cities, hundreds of small towns, and thousands of villages. The population of 30+ million refers to the municipalities population, not that of the capital city !
    CQ has changed so much since I first stepped off a plane in early 2003. My first impressions where very different to what a visitor experiences today. Perhaps that is one of the reason she has remained one of China's best kept secrets full of hidden gems for anyone prepared to take a closer look.

    Hitman 3 is introducing Chongqing to the world. Hopefully in a good way. The way I see Chongqing from the screen here, it looks like a place in Cyberpunk. Literally concrete forest. And also a lot of foods.

    • @Nicofilms
      @Nicofilms  3 года назад +2

      What is Hitman 3? Is it a game? You nailed it, that is how it felt, concrete forest but actually with lots of green entwined in it. The old and modern buildings work really well together and the levels of the city are really interesting. The night time and food are something else! 😋

    I've seen Hong Kong City and Seoul South Korea but Chinese megacities seem to completely dwarf both. Hong Kong city was incredible from across the bay. Singapore was very modern and clean but I have a feeling Chinese cities are even more impressive. Love to visit.

    A country with peace, prosperity, strong technology, high moral standards, fair and healthy competition, mutual respect, and the largest number of human races in the world. Loving peace while having a strong army not for aggression, but to protect peoples and to save people trapped in disaster. The ancient civilization of more than 5,000 years has been distilled from the oldest human moral and legal aspects, and China is the future of mankind.🎉🎉🎉❤❤
