Nice video. I'm glad to see Fimi putting out small and mid size drone competition for DJI. I've offer thought that I'd like to see Autel come out with an equivalent to the Air 2 or even the Mini 2. But it doesn't seem like that is going to happen.

x8 also have map with restricted zone..altho i havent tried flying in those space.... one thing to note about x8 is .. make sure you check the video footage and ensure if you like the saturated feel from x8
Hello. I think we should buy a larger landing pad, this ones are small 30-50 cm if we buy a 80 cm or 100 I think drones wil recognize. i really dont know when Mini 3 would be out.. anyway, before you buy i thinm you should watch more clips on youtube.. esp to do with picture profile/color etc to see what you prefer. fimi does have strong contrasting color, fyi

I like the Fimi. Doesn't hold it's weight against the Mini 2 but fun nontheless. I have ND filters which are alright, however with the poor FPV on the phone, it's really hard to tell what your image will actually look like. I used a ND32 and couldn't really see anything on the screen but the image wasn't bad.
You’re trying so hard not to say too many things negative I get it believe me. FIMI loves the dark contrast look. Not my favorite all the time. Thx for the review
The DJI Mini 2 comes with a very large remote controller, which goes against the idea of having a very portable and small drone to take with you. The FIMI controller looks much smaller, which for me is another advantage over DJI Mini 2 in addition to those mentioned in your video
I see you have the same problem what most people have with this drine. Image in the middle is more bright than on the sides, especially it showes on the sky or others one colour picture. Prabobly Dji mini se would be better for similar price

I'm not to big in buying imported drones....But this one seems pretty close to a DJI mini one drone with some features as the DJI mini 2...My first drone imported was a JJRC Epik and it took nice pics but horrible jelly video. And for GOD sake stay away from drones such as sg906 beast and above.....To me the imported drones are horrible when it comes to recording videos.. But this Fimi x8 mini has good video but to put it in the same category as a DJI mini 2 no way. The DJI mini 2 is the best mini drone on the planet...Plus DJI got it running with the smart controller that even enhanced this drone farther with out having to use your smart phone.....And i'm telling you folks save your money buy DJI mini 2 or wait for the NEW DJI mini 3........DJI going to blow the drone business CRAZY when it release the new mini 3....But hey if your trying to budget....I usually wouldn't say this but i would buy the Fimi x8 mini drone......GREAT!! Can you do simple math here ? 249 - 237 = 12g difference and Mini 2 is even lighter than Fimi X8 Mini (with pro battery) so Mini 2 is currently the lightest under 250g category drone on the market … yes 243 (Fimi X8 Mini with Pro battery) - 237 (DJI Mini 2) = Mini 2 is 6g lighter even then the Fimi X8 Mini with Pro battery … just do your homework next time before speaking empty words with no background at all …
Definitely don't buy the Fimi x8 mini, it blames the user when the drone fails under warranty and doesn't make repairs or changes. After the new updates of the drone, the image quality deteriorated very much, I wrote this down, I sent the black box to fimi, they told me that I had an accident and there would be no change in the repair. I said I definitely didn't have an accident, but they didn't make a turn. DO NOT BUY fimi x8 mini IF THE DEVICE MALFUNCTIONS, THEY DO NOT MAKE REPAIRS.

The Fimi X8 is a worthy competitor to the dji Mini 2 but I can't see many people buying the Fimi, especially if it's similarly priced.

What type of connector on the RC for connection to handphone? Is it Type "C"?
yeah, type c to whatever mobile phone you have as they provide 3 types. so, i was using type c to type c.
