I had that moment the strongest during the second ending song of Jujutsu Kaisen (give it back by Cö shu Nie), but each of Porter Robinson’s songs also give me the same sorts of feelings. It’s like he’s taking some of the strongest emotions people have felt and screaming about them through his compositions and the lyrics. It’s very mesmerizing

Worlds + Virtual Self + Nurture all together in a song. This what makes this track so so special for me and his best ever track. Energetic, emotional and nostalgic!
I think dullscythe features more of those three eras. I don't hear Virtual Self in this.

I have never loved a full album before. Nurture is a first of many things for me. I just started therapy last week and this whole time I couldn't get it, Porter's songs have been a giant part of my mental health music playlists. It's ironic because it feels like your music has gone on this whole journey with me.

Everything about this album screams early 2000’s! It was an aesthetic that was only at the peripheries when I was growing up, but I loved it. Like the last few shreds of kaybug that didn’t die out. Imogen heap’s speak for yourself, early Plaid, the first animal crossing... this music video in particular reminds me of the dragonfly tv intro. I want yall to understand that my boy porter just revived another aesthetic

This is my favorite song. Period. It's a loaded and unfair question to ask in a world full of so many beautiful sounds. Yet, of the songs I know none move me like Unfold. I've heard it a thousand times, and it can easily move me to the point of tears still. Such an impossible to describe emotion... As language adequate fails me, I'll simply say perfect.

I was driving to a new city I'd move to, and right before I'd arrive, there's this massive bridge/tunnel that is over 20 mins long and cuts through the bay. I got a new job there, one I dreamed of. I was moving far from family, far from the world I grew up with, but it was exactly what I needed. I needed to start finding my true self, especially after an abusive relationship, 6 years of college that left me stuck, and a father who disowned me. This song played when I was driving through that bridge. I never thought I'd cry so much as I got closer to the lights and the shore. I was home, I finally started to feel free. I truly watched the water unfold. I wasn't the same as I was. And it's a feeling I'm so glad I know now.

From walking on water in Get Your Wish to watching the water unfold in Unfold, I can't wait to see what comes from this era!
I've seen Porter live twice now. I'll be honest, I was not at all familiar with most of this songs last November when I first saw him, so aside from the few more popular songs I basically knew nothing.
And then he performed this song.
I hadn't heard it before then, or if I had it was VERY briefly and I likely wasn't paying attention, but when he played it *I just knew it.* Deep down, it resonated with me, struck a nerve that had never been struck before. This song was telling me something I truly needed to hear, and that was to let go of the things weighing me down, that even though I was struggling then and had struggled before I would persevere and get through it, and that the people in my life loved me and would always be there to help me.
There is not a single way I can express how much I needed to hear that in that moment.

I just recently noticed a detail and I loved it.
Throughout the video, it shows some kind of an abstract landscape. However, near the end, it shows a realistic background. Perhaps, their photographs depicting reality. In other words, the whole video is a wholesome and optimistic transition from fantasy to reality.
Worlds to Nurture in a single song, this isn't a music but a piece of Porter's soul with audio
This song literally makes my depression fade away while im listening to it. Makes me appreciate the world a little more knowing we have people like this living on it, that can change people's moods with one track, same with the rest of this album. I'll never stop appreciating your music man, doubt ill ever meet you in person, but I cant stress enough how much your music has done for me.

Sometimes it can feel like youve been swimming for a very long time, and theres nothing better than that moment when youre back on solid ground. Falling to your hands and thanking God that its finally over.
I've never been so fully entranced by an album as an experience as I have been with Nurture. I can't keep track of how many times I've listened to this masterpiece. Nothing has ever made me feel this way. "Mother" makes me cry every time, "Musician" makes me wanna move my body and jam, "Look at the Sky" makes me want to scream to the heavens, and this song just makes me FLOAT dude. You're a gift to this world Porter, and I can't thank you enough for what you've accomplished
Unfold is easily my most favourite song of Nurture, and my third most favourite of all songs
my close friend who has been struggling with their gender identity, anxiety and depression told me to listen to this album. I always trust her music recommendations because we like some of the same stuff, but I also just respect her opinions a lot. Last Friday on a beautiful day after school. I sat out in my yard with my dog listening to this. I was kind of turned off from it just for a minute or two on look at the sky, because I usually have disdain for edm, but man Porter just does it so differently. This is now like one of my favorite albums I’ve heard and I think it helps knowing that this album helped my friend get through a lot of shit and I can see why, and I’m glad I can connect with her on that :)

I did not understand this song before, and even found it haunting when talking about shouldering the weight of the world. I have been feeling exactly like that. Then I realized today watching it again, it was about not regretting things going bad, because of how much bad experiences make you grow. I guess like "not wasting your suffering" as porter has said before.
This song made me cry, it's been so long since a song has made me shed a tear. And yet this one did it. This is probably my favorite.

I literally cannot describe this music video. Like... i can describe it physically with it’s visuals, but the meaning is literally unable to grasp. It’s different for everyone. There’s so many ways to see everything here, even the lyrics put with it make it impossible to distinct. Amazing production.

I feel like the art style theme of one line art represents what this album is trying to say. You may not know where youre going, but in the end its clear what path you create for yourself.
This song is so intensely beautiful to me that I don't even know how to put it into words. It's like years of built up negative emotional baggage being released all at once in the form of a song.
I hope Porter never stops making music like this.
I love the aesthetic of the whole album man
This is an intensely well written song. The chorus is one of the best and most moving melodies of any song I have ever heard, and I have listened to literally everything. It almost gave me a soul attack the first time I heard it. Porter writes the music of people, and that's the only way to write music.

I remember thinking how a nothing could top language, then I remember thinking how nothing could possibly top divinity, but yet here I am listening to a song that somehow topped them both. This is porter's best track IMO. Lyrically, melodically, production wise everything is perfection.
I've listened to this hundreds of times just for how it sounds but only just understood the lyrics are all about learning to live in the moment, one of the hardest lessons I've ever had to learn. And the tempo of the song is dictated not by a drum or metronome, but by a heartbeat, because the song is about living. One of the most powerful songs I've ever heard, musically and lyrically.

There's something about this song that I can't explain. I'm in a low spot in life. I'm falling all my classes, I have lost my closest friends, I fell in love with a girl whom doesn't feel the same, my family is struggling to hold together, all my friends have actual lives now, and I feel deserted. And having nobody here for me, results into a feeling I've always had a fear of, Loneliness. It's a feeling we all hate to experience but happens to all of us.
