Hey Derek, if I want to promote products through the TikTok Shop Affiliate program and I'm start from scratch to get to the 5K follows to apply for the program what strategy should I use when initially setting up my TikTok account? Some folks are saying to create an entertaining TikTok channel to get a lot of followers fast. However, I'm concerned that suddenly starting to promote affiliate products that have nothing to do with the original entertainment content will lead to no sales and a loss of followers.
I was accepted into the affiliate pilot program, followed your video on how to create a shop for all my info and linked them, now I cannot add anything to my showcase and its acting as if I’m the seller, can you help me figure out how to add to my showcase again as an affiliate only.
I still have my tiktok shop creater button, when I go to add products it takes me to my “shop” which I don’t have a physical business at all. So how can it link me back to product market place? Thanks
if you got accepted into the TikTok Shop affiliate pilot program, you should already have access to product marketplace where you can find all the affiliate products without linking any shop's account. I would try to unlinked the TikTok Shop account, and see if you have access to product marketplace. If you still don't have access to that, I would try to reach out to their support

It is based on the criteria mentioned, if you meet all criteria you will get access but TikTok is also giving access to certain creators who has 1,000+ followers in the pilot program.

I'm not exactly sure about the pilot program, as there is not much info on it in their guideline. I assume they would notify you on the app

I’m creator with a 1,500k follower and I’m in the program affiliate, but the other account need 10k but is TikTok policy
