Thanks B! I tried it out and got almost 900 followers the first week. Will duplicate the ad and try some other countries. Seems most of my followers are in Egypt and South Africa. I have a shop too so my test will just be USA and Ca.
I posted once a day, then recently followed some posts about growing your account to 10k, and reposted those videos. I followed 3 of those ‘grow your followers’ videos and reposted them. I am now at 1060 followers and was able to add my Shopify website URL to my TikTok profile
Technically, you’re not supposed to take other peoples contact yes. But generally speaking, you don’t run into any issues when doing this because you’re not linking products or trying to sell anything you’re just reposting peoples content…. and smart aren’t going to Care because you’re giving them more awareness and views without them having to put in any extra work. You will have the random creator that does get annoyed… or who’s using copyright music in their video… but the worst that will happen is your video will get muted. Then you know not to use that creator and find another one.
Excellent Content As Usual! Question or you. I just want to be clear. So I can use any video on RUclips to make shorts and post the shorts to Tiktok or my youtube channel?
Thanks! You can use anyone's content for the most part if you're uploading clips like this to Titkok yeah. Occasionally your video might get muted or taken down, but it rarely happens. If it does, just move on to a different creator. Only do it until you get to the follower requirement though. Then stop and apply...then going forward make those videos private and start making your own videos.
@@BryanGuerratvI tried this, thanks always for sharing and helping us out. TikTok removed my video, citing violation of some kind. Should I try Instagram for content?
Thanks for the video Bryan. Very clear and very helpful. I have a question for you because you mentioned that you have at least three TikTok pages or accounts. You can do that? How is that done. Are they all separate or all on the same account? I would like to use that strategy in case something happens to my page
Yeah you can have as many tiktok pages as you want. I have them all on my phone and in different browsers on my computer. You just setup a new page with a new email or phone number...and a new password.
Interesting. I'll have to switch over then! Do you just private the videos after applying for tiktok shop or just before? Also, how long do you make the videos if you're posting 5-10 times daily?
After applying for affiliates yeah (shop you can just apply with an EIN/SSN). Typical videos are usually w.e. the AI makes them. Anywhere from 20 seconds to 2 minutes depending.
@@BryanGuerratv why do you need to make the prior videos private after applying for affiliate? To keep the account consistent or because TikTok will get upset if you have content on your affiliate account that is not product-related (this confuses me in general, given that you need a pre-product audience to get into affiliate program to begin with!)
@@BryanGuerratv this is still confusing to me. So if you grow your account posting dog videos for example, if you switch to affiliate TikTok expects you to stop posting the content that originally drew in your audience? Can you not post both types of videos? I've seen some affiliate accounts post videos without products in between the product videos. I am having a hard time understanding how the requirement would be that you can't have the flexibility to post what you want so long as you aren't trying to use a podcast clip or something to sell a product.
@@astrobabe29 You just can't use videos like this to link products. So you don't want to conflate the two when starting to link products and do affiliates. It's more or less just a safe way to approach it.
Is it technically legal to take short clips from anyone's long form video and use the clip yourself since the clip was edited in your own way so it falls under fair use?
Most big creators won’t care that you’re reposting their clipped videos. It’s no extra work for them and you’re increasing their brand awareness. On the rare occasion the video gets muted then just switch to someone else in your niche. But this is NOT for linking products. This is just to grow the page before that. Hope that helps clarify 👍

Oh that was because they had updated the requirement to only 1K followers way back a few weeks ago like at the very beginning of the month but more recently as of June 5TH TikTok released another update and they put the requirement back at 5K so basically to break it all down that 1K requirement was just placed for a very very short amount of time It wasn’t a forever type of thing and also I believe it was only for selected individuals that had 1K followers because even like myself I have over 1.3K and before they changed it back to 5K requirement it still wasn’t even letting me get approved and tons of other people that had only 1K was having the same exact issues so that’s why I believe they only had let certain selected people in below that level
@@BryanGuerratv no that was from the first update that dropped at the very beginning of the month but right now at this current moment as we speak it’s back up at 5000 requirement and that was as of June 5th when they pushed out that update and switched it back. Typically no. Most don’t get flagged and most big creators won’t care if you repost their content (assuming you’re not linking products). You’re just getting them more brand awareness and reach for no extra work on their part. It’s a win win. But if you do use a creators stuff and it gets muted for copyright, then just move on to someone else it’s fine 👍
They’re both good and do the same thing basically. The only hang up with simplified is that you can’t put in videos under 10 minutes which can be an issue
I posted 6 videos the first day. And the views were great and I gained 9 followers the first day. The next day my videos have 0 views. Do you know why this might happen?
Great content, as always. Can a person create a tiktok seller shop, with zero subs? Then add some products to sell. Could that shop as a seller, then do affiliate marketing also? With zero to few subs? Creating a small and legitimate shop.
So to be clear I pick a RUclips channel and let the shorts be created...then without doing anything to that short just download then upload to TikTok? It's really just that simple? I mean the original owner is not coming with marshals. I don't need to add a little to the clip to make it mine? Or because I short formed the longform it's mine?
Yes, you can connect it to your TikTok so you can just upload from the site after that they’re clipped. Although, you still need to paste the URL link of the RUclips video into the software so we can edit the videos.
So I did this longform to shortform. I also heavily edited the video as to try and avoid a CW strike, I left the original creator's voice in but absolutely did not show the creator nor his video and... account suspended. I uploaded 4 videos a day for 4 days the content was fashion and again all video was my new original editing. Waiting for appeal, all I can say this did not work for me.
Not product videos no. This is just to get followers. For product videos you can use something like creatify ai or viral ecom ads. I have videos on both of those. If you need links, let me know.
