hope you enjoyed this video friends
As I approach the closing chapters of my journey, I have learned that when we fail to meet our expectations, we often find ourselves on unexpected paths that teach us valuable lessons. Each setback, while disappointing, is also an opportunity to learn and grow. By embracing these challenges, we adapt and move closer to where we're truly meant to be. Life's failures are not just obstacles; they help shape our journey, guiding us to our real success. David you have arrived at a waypoint in your life journey, the path continues!
beautiful words, thank you for sharing :)
Nobody shall decided what "failure" or "success" look like but me
Because you had the courage to keep going' The Greatest teacher, is failure. Thank you David
love it - thanks Darren
It's very difficult to persist through failure. Especially when you're creating and have generally little money and you have to imagine this worth that's in your creation. Like your evaluation of yourself and your creations is so small, but you have to believe someone else will see something larger.
I'm a general creative, I guess you could say. I've made sculptures, pottery, marker art, woodwork, and leatherwork ... I feel split between trying everything and I'm sort of good at all these things, but I can't seem to endure long enough and believe that my creations are saleable.
I feel like ... y'know, I've put 5 hours into this thing and to sell it reasonably would mean to sell it for $100. And that may actually be the value of the thing, but I see it and ... maybe it's also due to the consumer reality and cheap off-shore labor ... but I see this thing and think like 'yeah maybe I'd pay $15 for it'.
Anyway, keep going. I find your content reassuring and it's nice to hear.
thanks for sharing friend, glad you are finding value here
I like your honesty and authenticity. For me it's difficult to learn the lesson when failing. How do I know what I was lacking or doing wrong with no feedback from others? Maybe there are no customers to ask, because that's part of the problem. Maybe a topic for another video?
if there are no customers to ask, then it sounds like the issue could be that nobody was interested in what you were offering - so I would suggest the lesson could be to iterate on the offer until there is a customer to get feedback from.
I needed to hear this thank you!
