What a wonderful composition and summary of meaningful information. "We have to relearn the language of our body and our emotions". "We have to learn to truely feel our emotions". Sounds so much easier than it actually is, but these are essentials keys indeed, yes. Thank you Conni for this valuable content you are creating.
I'm so glad you talk about these topics now. It's really helpful. I've just started my 'real' healing journey after years of spiritual bypassing and constant changes on the outside, in my environment (I think we have a very similar story there). The biggest challenge for me is slowing down and being patient. The acceptance that there really isn't a quick fix to all of that. But things like yoga, meditation, reading books, and time in nature do help a little bit with the slowing down part.
welcome to the deep end of healing ;) glad that you found ways that helps you slow down. i know it can be incredibly frustrating when things don't improve/evolve as fast as we want them to. that in itself can even be a trauma response that might be worthwhile looking and feel into. all the best for you! (more of this content coming from now on!)
This is such a good video - I've been reading and processing things over the past year, but feel stuck most of the time, full of stress and tension for no clear reason. But... it's from avoiding these early emotions of grief, terror, anger. The times I've been able to feel these things have been the only times I've gained some relief from the overwhelming stress. So, thank you - this was really helpful...
Hi there, This was a great video...pretty overwhelming though...but one specific part In this video, at about 9 minutes and 25 seconds, you mentioned 'allowing ourselves to truly look into where our needs might not have been met when we were growing up and start connecting to some of the unfelt anger and grief'... how do you do this if you can't remember much about your childhood at all? any advice would greatly be appreciated
hi jules, you can start by journaling daily for four days in a row about this unfelt anger and grief. you might also want to look into transformational breathwork using conscious connected breathing or work with a somatic psychotherapist trained in somatic experiencing or narm. hope this helps! PS. i also plan to make more videos around how to process stored emotions!
Hi question you said it took you about 11 years to feal healed. How long did you think you're healing would take if you knew than what you know now? gr Jaime
"can't heal a feeling issue with a thinking approach" spot on! Love this Conni

One of the best videos you have made. Very simple and informative explanation. Thank you.
Wow, thanks! Really means a lot :)
