I’ve had this printer for 8-9 yrs and NEVER a problem but now I need a printer that prints Avery labels.
This is definitely the best printer EVER. High capacity cartridges, ALL pigment, easily replacable/cleanable Printhead, LCD, Fax, ADF. And very rugged - 1250 pages/month, up to 25000/month.
I'm sold!
Buyer beware! This printer is flawed and has been replaced by HP. It's a great printer EXCEPT, there is a flaw in the loading of photo papers from the default tray fails after several months of use. I've done the research online and others have the same issue. Cleaning all the in-line pinch rollers does not help nor does using 'official' HP premium photo papers. I've worked with HP support and they helped me to print photo papers (after a lot of tweaking) but it has now failed again. Luckily, I purchased a two-year extended warranty but still had to settle for another HP (the OfficeJet 6930 Pro). HP failed on their predecessor to this printer which I use to own, the HP8500 all-in-one. It had a split-cogwheel hardware flawed that also caused the printer to think it was out of paper. HP cannot not seem to get it right, at least in this model range. I hope my new HP 6930Pro gives me no issues...
Can it print checks?
This is the best??? It's crap! Printing looks good but it uses ink very quickly and they charge a lot to replace them. mine doesn't see much action and just gave me a message saying cartridge is missing or damaged half way through printing on the rare occasion I actually used it. Of all the printers I've used, HP has the most issues. PISS OFF! The price and time you pay per copy is a joke. F You HP!
you can change them yourself. you just buy the cartridges and its super easy to replace them
