Got a real question I dont pay electricity because of legal circumstances, in that case would saving my old MB and installing a GPU and joining a pool make a profit to me, gotta say the MB is old it had a 970 xt
I’ll save you some time so you don’t have to watch the video… this machine will make $25 a month. Electricity will cost around $20 more a month. So you will profit $5 a month on a $300 rig. It will take 6 years to pay for itself… no it is not a good idea
The Nano 3 still has a place in the market as a lottery miner. Unlike this video it is actually mining SHA256 algo so you have a chance of hitting a 120k block... every 3,000 years!
@@hdcomputerkeith hey Keith see below link i already have a video. Only difference is make the length 39 inches for 12 card. I Built a BUDGET Mining Rig Frame for a New GPU Build in 2024 ruclips.net/video/wLCoTOw7qak/видео.html
If I am not paying for power what coin should I be mining. I have a small rig, 3 3060ti's and a 3070. Im currently mining conflux averaging about 10 per day.
Hi, I'm building my mining rig the first time as I was inspired by this video. So happen that I had the Dell Optiplex 9010 that is not being used. However I got an issue to setup, the PC doesnt detect the GPU (RTX 3060 Ti) thru the PCIe riser. Updated and checked the BIOS and there's no PCIe menu option to configure, am I missing some sort of step from here? Actually planning to install Unmineable on the Windows 10. Please advise how can I go about, really cant find the solution on this. Thanks in advance
Are you mining XMR on that old CPU ? What is Kryptex running ? Would it be more profitable to mine to a XMR pool ? Like c3pool iv been using that. Running on 3 computers mining about .20 cents a day. It’s not much but payout is low, I know kryptex payout is forever . XMR is at like $160 rn too !
just get a sheet of plywood and gently screw 4 risers onto the board. run cables from pc to the risers. run your favorite miner software. mine. profit...
Short term thinking. Two things to consider: first, the BTC mined with this rig will be anonymous as there is no KYC or other transfer through one of the exchanges like Coinbase, or an exchange of USD for BTC via an ACH transfer. Second, BTC will go up, big time. So mine the BTC and hold. You will end up with BTC that easily covers the cost of the electricity used to mine it and you won't be paying capital gains or other trading taxes and fees on it.
Got a real question please answer, I dont pay electricity because of legal circumstances, in that case would saving my old MB and installing a GPU and joining a pool make a profit to me?
Mining bitcoin with a gpu is one of the stupidest things you could try. Converting to BTC is the most likely the only way you'll ever make a profit with mining.
Whats the point of this? Youre comparing mining to a pool vs the avalon solo miner which is a lottery play? You actually advise people to do this? This is no way profitable. 140-150w total at the wall with CPU/Motherboard/GPU. You're losing 10c day at 10KWH(which is low most pay more!) youll losing $30 a year after a couple hundred dollar investment? Ouch. People better off buying the coin....
At this point most rigs like what he built would be for spec mining. Get in on the new coin/token and hold on to and gamble that it would gain in value.

Why not just call it what it is. A crypto miner on a pool that pays out in btc.
Of course, all of us veteran miners understand that, however I believe this video is targeted at new miners.

I still have my first mining rig that I built the same exact way just a PC turned on its side with six GPU’s love it 13 year old pc
How do Bitcoin flash tools affect the integrity of blockchain data?
Is the environmental impact of Bitcoin mining a reason to switch to proof-of-stake coins?

Great video. I did not realize those server power supplies were platinum efficiency.
what's the advantage with using a server PSU, they seem very loud
They’re basically silent until they get to high load!
one vote for yes to time lapses!
Nice pretty cool rig!
I have mined for 2999 years. I should be able to hit a block this year. 😜
How much did u gate in one gpu per day
And are u mining ksa or etrume

¿Es Bitcoin realmente descentralizado o sigue existiendo manipulación dentro del sistema?

great, only requires a $500 gpu to make it worthwhile, which will utilize way more than $30 a month in electricity.....:/
so you need 17 months just to recover the cost of gpu not including electricity cost......

nice vid !
You built a pos, youre not mining btc and thats the least efficent option for mining possible 😂. Youre spending 4x on hydro vs your "earnings".
Great video, thanks! By the way, I also have crypto mining content on my channel.
BOO i love time lapses lol
Thanks for sharing this! I recently uploaded a video on setting up Bitcoin wallets with security tips. Great for beginners-feel free to take a look 🔐💰
