I know that some people upgrade the side stand from 848/1098 side stand. That might explain the different wiring? Awesome videos, just discovered them today and binge watching them. Thanks for taking the time to make them.
my side stand has a cable that goes between the 3 wire plug and the 2 wire plug. I thought it was weird but when I removed it the bike would cut off with the stand up. So I put it back and figured I was just wrong. 2002 620ie
Thanx for your videos! @28:02 you mention making sure that the idle sattles back stable and does not dip. Since my 98' 748S does exactly that - dipping, not sattling stable immediately - any short advice on how to solve that?
Yes it's just slightly rich so you can adjust the fuel screws on the throttle body's...turn them in but only quarter turn at a time ...it maybe just one to adjust

Really 🤔 I have never seen that ....it must be an adapter cable for the harness ..so one of those wires will be bridged into one

Fuel tank level sensor should have been replaced, too. The o-ring and rubber hood perish.
It dosent have to be replaced its the plastic nut that can crack...the metal nuts are better... but I don't have metal nuts ! 🤔
Interesting vid mate . Sounds sweet now!
Thank you pal 👍
Another great video and another job for me to do 😁👍
Thank you ...your bike is just going up in value now 🫡
I used 7.5mm hoses to replace the old ones, but 8mm is fine and easier to fit
