Interesting to hear Blair talk like an atheist when in real life Lisa Whelchel is a born again Christian. Slaps are actually much louder than punches because of the sound of the wind caught in the palm of the hand. Punches don’t usually make a lot of noise because it doesn’t have the same effect, since they are closed fists. The sound they use in movies and shows is just to boost the audiences understanding that an impact was made.
