    "I choose to live" made me like and subscribe 😂 But seriously, I appreciate how much effort you and your wife put into this. I'm going for a pink, wood, white and black aesthetic too so I took pointers.

    her office setup is goals!!! though I want the exact same thing with yellow instead of pink... and need to figure out an ergonomic setup that fits my tiny petite frame (148cm)... wish me luck 🙃

    My wife and I got rid of our guest bedroom a couple of months ago and then made one of our extra rooms my man cave and the old guest room her diva cave. So we each have our own workspaces that cater to our likes and hobbies.

    Useally I am not a pink kind of guy, but this was really cool, and so consistent use of a few colors. I really liked this and got inspired myself. One question; does the Stream Deck come with mechanical buttons, or is it just a bunch of "small touch screens"? Thanks for great content :)

      The stream deck I have (just the mini) are mechanical buttons. I think that's true of the classic and XL as well, but I'm less familiar with the model in this video with the knobs

    I really like this video (and I also watched the one you made about all of the home automation thing you wish you'd known). I'm a pretty girly girl and I'm also a software engineer and it really feels like most of the serious tech is designed to be pretty masculine. I've been working from home more recently and renovating my first home and all of the planning/setup is exciting but a lot. I appreciate that when you've included premium items in the setup it feels like the price of them was acknowledged and considered in whether they're worth getting =] thanks! I think for me I'll be getting the Logitech Lift in rose - glad Logitech is stepping up to the pink plate.

    We put a wall bed up in our guest room. 99% of the time it’s has a warhammer 40K gaming table set up with our miniatures in display cabinets. When guests comes over, the table folds away into the closet and a queen size bed comes down. The wall bed frame is expensive and a pain to assemble, but it’s a brilliant space saver. It also keeps cats from laying on the guest bed through the year.

      That's a great way of handling it! We've considered something similar like a Japanese-style futon we could just keep in the closet and have laid out whenever guests are over. Agreed on the cat part. Our dog is constantly getting on the guest bed.

    Flexispot has a nice little bamboo drawer that attaches to the underside of the desk, which might work out better for you than that sharp metal drawer. I bought one, but I haven't set up my Flexispot desk yet, so I can't say myself.

    Such a cute and practical desk set up. It makes me want to clear and declutter my own desk area for a cleaner look like the one in this video!

    I think this is one of the most beautiful desk setup I’ve seen yet. As a desk chair I can absolutely recommend the hag capisco pink desk chair, looks great and is very good for everyone who doesn’t like to sit in the same position for hours

    Oooh love the vibes of this. I want to try out a stream deck now - do you know if you can tie it to specific things like controls in Final Cut?

    • @JimmyTriesWorld
      @JimmyTriesWorld  Год назад +1

      Hey man! Seen your stuff around! For FCPX, you can set the buttons to trigger specific hotkeys that you use in FCPX or even a string of hotkeys or keys in a sequence. There's no direct FCPX plugin to do things like configuring the dials to adjust color or anything but I personally use hotkeys to get around that.

    Been following since your first house, but seriously; never heard of spraypaint?

    • @JimmyTriesWorld
      @JimmyTriesWorld  Год назад +2

      We've tried spray paint in the past! Didn't go as great as planned. Maybe I just suck at it, but the finish never lasted and never felt how I thought it would.
