Hey Charlie, I'm no bricklayer so this might seem like a stupid question! How come you switched to what i think are commons then block back to commons then block again? i'm assuming there is a reason for it like? just curious, Thanks!
@@hod2116 the house can’t just be built with facing bricks only. Some don’t have any bricks it’s all block work just depending on the type of house your building. Facing bricks are the part you’ll see when the house is constructed but behind the brickwork is a cavity then insulation then block work. It does vary from different constructions but You’ll work it out but pretty much common sense with the weight of the lintels & window frames doors & cavities insulation etc. many reasons such as modern building regulations but the guy above pretty much confirmed why. With a kit house your mostly using block work only & then rough cast over the block work to give it a nice smooth looking waterproof finish as not every house has facing bricks atoll bro.
@@Gavaldo mate he just asked why he built the block work like that with the blockets I'm pretty sure he knows about cavitys and an inner skin and outer skin
@@hod2116no as he said he’s not a bricklayer bro. Thought I’d try explaining how many different types & ways that are the reason it’s not done just with Common brick as he said bro. ✌️👍✌️
Constant dramas with the silos I used to hate it! I remember that if anything went wrong with the silo the first step was to whack it with a scaff tube or shovel 🤣. If that didn’t work then take the front off lol.
That's why the silos get damaged get idiots whacking it . We had a silo looked after it blocked once in 3 years . Got a bunch of asshole bricklayers turn up fucked it straight away . Bricklayers braindead
Never mind the back, don't do the front either, I suppose since dot n dab come on the scene that's why it's done, I'm old enough to remember float and skim, so leaving mortar out of the joints didn't matter back then, good key for the plaster
Great job Charlie
Great work as always
Total satisfaction!!!!

Because you not allowed a blocket under the lintels and that is how it worked out
