No worries, happy to help! I’m glad you loved my video and I’m happy that I was able to help you in Buses of NSW. Thanks HappyDT,

Speaking of 610X, I rode a Scania K280UB Custom Coaches CB60 Evo 2 (9806) in TfNSW livery on 610X to City QVB
Nice. I saw it terminate while I was in Castle Hill
I do really hope that one day when they have to replace these buses they do it with another tri axel
CDC NSW is the only operator to have the most tri axle buses, whilst the other being Transdev John Holland only has one.
Yes CDC has a very large number of tri-axles. Transdev’s one is 2108, which is externally identical to CDC’s K310UB with the exception of the STA livery being applied on 2108.
I rode their K310UB today
This is an excellent video, and I have never been on a 14.5m bus other than the STA bus featured in a previous video, which I have just commented on. Does this bus have a rear "steer" axle as opposed to a "tag" axle? I really enjoyed this video. Well done 👏 👍
Hey John, thanks for stopping by! This bus does have a rear steering axle. CDC has 3 types of 14.5m buses (excluding CDi) those being the L94UB 14.5m, K310UB 14.5m and this type, the K280UB 14.5m. The K310UB and K280UB variants both have rear steering however the L94UB version does not, making it basically restricted only to the city routes whereas the other two types are more versatile. I quite like riding a 14.5m, as they’re just a big normal bus rather than a bendy. I’m glad you enjoyed my video John and I’ll try to make more STA bus content if possible. Thanks John 😊
@coolsoap8 you're very welcome 👍 thanks for the information, I appreciate it. I am happy learning about the non STA vehicles and services as my knowledge is limited in that field. However, I will possibly bore you with my stories of STA, but I do like your adventures into the STA realm.
you won’t bore me! I love hearing from my viewers and I’d be more than happy to hear some stories about Sydney’s best (defunct) bus operator! :)
@coolsoap8 Thanks 😊 I have many stories, and I will tell them as I react to each of your videos. STA was an exceptional organisation, but they made many mistakes on their way to expansion, which ultimately led to their demise.
I 100% agree. Imagine being a GOVERNMENT ORGANISATION and losing your GOVERNMENT CONTRACT to private companies because they can do it better 🤣 Everything started going downhill as soon as the red stripe disappear, it was such a shame what happened to the STA…
Quite the rarity for it to not be packed!
Indeed! It was an outbound service at around midday so I wasn’t expecting a huge crowd. Thanks for watching, hope you enjoyed it :)
Went on 9527 a 14.5m yesterday as well 610x from qvb to wynyard
@@MrAnsairDudethe K310UBs (9527’s type) are my second favourite CDC tri axle. The L94 ones sound terrible 🤮
3:18 bro really had to disrespect 3420 sob
3420 might not be the best SOUNDING, but she is the best LOOKING 😍
