@@cowubl hey Malayalam language. Njan manushyan. “If Thunchathezhuthachan was the father of Malayalam Language, Herman Gundert was its foster father,” opined historian M.G.S. Narayanan. Releasing the book ‘Malayalavum Herman Gundertum’ (Malayalam and Herman Gundert) at the Thunchath Ezhuthachan Malayalam University at Tirur on Tuesday, Mr. Narayanan said that even serious historians have neglected books like ‘Kerala Pazhama’ by Gundert, who is mostly known for the first lexicon in Malayalam as well as ‘Rajyasamacharam’, the first newspaper in the language. Study of Gundert’s works have helped historians much in clearing certain misunderstandings and misconceptions. His works were milestones that marked the history of Kerala. The myths portrayed in his books give us a hint of the culture of those times. He was recovering the culture of Kerala for the later generations through his books. His work as a missionary only showed that the problems and culture of people are the same around the world, Mr. Narayanan said and appreciated the Malayalam University for establishing a ‘Gundert Chair’ in Germany. - The Hindu newspaper
Thank you for this beautiful documentary on Dr Gundert. His contributions to the Malayalam language are indeed amazing. I wanted to know who the narrator is; her pronunciation of most Malayalam words including the second 'la' in 'Malayalam' is perfect. Then I saw in the credits that it is the noted television news anchor, Rini Simon Khanna. Thank you also for not voicing over the interviews in Malayalam and letting the viewers hear the language 😊
@@cowubl nah bro, no one's taking credit. If this guy didn't come, a lot of progress couldn't be made. If you're a mallu, it's inevitable to acknowledge his contribution to our language.
We Malayalam language and Kerala have own identity. We don't need any western step dad or extra father-ship. Don't try to take father-ship credits of Malayalam language and Malayali people. Its a propaganda biased documentary . Stay away.

What matters is Jesus, and what he did for us on this cross. He paid the price for our sins, we deserved death, but he died in our stead. By His wounds, we are healed. Through faith (commitment in a relationship) with Him, we are healed and saved. What's more, He rose again the third day, providing justification for those who believe in Him.
