I hope they restyle the grill to look more like the MDX. Needs an aggressive, restyled wheel package. Interior looks good! Not a bad SUV... Just needs a couple tweeks...
Honda Motors USA continues to be led by those still with one foot solidly in the Stone Age... The RDX is a nice all around smallish SUV. The strongest things it has going for it are legendary Honda reliability and being priced reasonable. The downsides are few, but noteworthy such as one, that's ONE, single engine choice. The engine is a solid "working man's" engine at least, but what about one up-tempo engine offered as a second choice, which would keep the masses who want a bit of pep and engine growl from going over to other brands instead of buying an Acura RDX? What a huge branding and sales loss does the one-engine, no choice branding, cost Honda! The seats could be a bit more cozy, the duel screen setup is tedious at best to look at, and doing away with any visible exhaust pipes just ensures everyone thinks the car, if not an electric vehicle, screams "no performance here, folks." All in all the RDX, and the larger MDX lacks (I own a 2015 MDX loaded, and it also came with no up-tempo second choice engine offered), in my view, is mainly a second engine choice which would provide at least 35 HP more in the RDX and in the MDX another engine choice that would add about 50 HP more and also just a little bit of growl as well. Soften a bit more the seats, do something to get rid of the two large info screens would go a long way to selling 25,000 more annual units in the states.
Those turn signals are beautiful!!
this car is the jack of all trades, master of none as it's above average in every section. The interior does look a bit bland/boring though. The biggest thing is the nice V6 engine you can get for a good price and it should be a reliable SUV.
Can't agree more..., the V6 is absolutely awesome....I love it...
Acura finally got rid of the "beak" grille on the MDX. Now it needs to do the same with the rest of its lineup. It never looked good.
But now Acura designers are hiding exhaust tips to make their cars "look more environmentally friendly." Newsflash Acura: These are not electric vehicles, and most people like the look of exposed exhaust. If you must change the exhaust design - then borrow one from the Lexus GS 200T. Also - borrow more styling cues from the NSX. Americans want powerful, elegant, luxurious-but-aggressive-looking, well-engineered vehicles.
V6 !!! Vroom!!!
My friend invited his buddy over and he called it a mom mobile compared to his SI. He got smoked.
Great video---are there power folding mirrors?
V nice in depth review as always! Oh boy you are doing pretty awesome job, only thing is missing- test drive, I can understand that's what's you get from sponsors no regrets!
Acura Is Owned By Honda.
got any more used car reviews coming soon? I really like those
Do you ever actually drive any of the cars you review?
Nice LED lighting
YESS!! Made my day! Great review #1supporter
We Love RDX.
cant wait unti u become more famous
yesssss great job
This review is very boring. We don't need to be told what the various buttons do, we can read the owners manual. Tell us about the functionality of the vehicle, how it performs. I'm probably going to end up getting the Audi Q5 anyhow.
Noticed at the dealership today when looking at the Acura RDX that the 2016 models showed 28 MPG on the HWY and the 2017 models showed 27 MPG on the HWY...? Emissions changes...?
Nice review though! -Thanks
It's probably the best value in the segment and can be easily had for around 300 per month. The Q5 is way more expensive, and a 4 banger for 500 per month lease.
I hate when one of these are behind me at night. The jewel eye LED's are so bright they are pretty blinding.
+Anderson No they are not
The jewel LEDs are beautiful..., Love it
720p in 2016??
