I know this is going to sound a little pandering, but I could care less if it does. The truth is you were the best thing that happened to this movie. I've had the honor of interviewing you twice and working with a lot of people that have worked with you, and it felt like a long road to get to Instagram and then RUclips, but I knew what would happen when you did and here we are. Your record keeping skills and retention ability empowered the memory of this movie to live on and while many of us experience the Fast and the Furious, its part of your DNA. I wish the writers had listened to more of your input and I think it would've been a better foundation for future films. I'll be honest, I blamed you for a lot of the mistakes before I first interviewed you and once we started talking I realized I had the complete 180 wrong impression. Now that I work in the sort of environment I can relate. You've kept the real torch alight for why we, as car folks, continue to pine over the old films and honestly long for a return to form that as you so aptly stated we probably will never see and I know you even wrote a script to fight for it. Here's my input. Keep doing what you do and I'm sure there will be fans that follow you for it and thank you for being a part of this franchise. It never would be what it is today without you.

The Leon character was robbed, too. He survived in-tact, and drives off in one of the black Civics at the end of the first film. Never mentioned him again. Bringing him back into the fold would have made more sense than 90% of the stuff they did, instead. Bringing Letty back from the dead. Bringing Han back from the dead (twice?). Invented a brother that was never seen or heard of before. Etc. The fourth film was the last semi-realistic of the franchise. Had the best cars IMHO, too.

Speaking of DVDs I have a copy of the 2nd movie, 2 FAST 2 FURIOUS, complete with all the deleted scenes, voice overlay for the commentaries, the on-screen written commentaries, the prelude of the movie which connected the first movie to the second, outtakes, etc. It even has a segment that show you talking to Jasmin Curtis on how to make a custom car. Bu the coolest one is the main menu which lets the viewers choose from 3 different cars - the Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder, the Lancer Evo 7, and the Honda S2000 - all of which were used in the movie. Each of those 3 cars features how they were made and some interviews of the actors who portayed th characters that used them in the movie which was very nice. I still have the DVD in my possession and it is still in good shape, and I would not trade it for anything in the world - not even for billions or trillions of dollars in exchange for it.
I remember staying behind at the theatre watching the last few scenes following to 2 fast 2 furious. I have the book, bought the original 1/18 models and watched the bonus behind the scenes dvd featurettes great to see more scenes
I always loved the first 2 dvds for the bonus goodies..all while watching them in my 95 civic back in 2004-5. Love your content! Keep up the great work
I first heard about you, and knew your channel would be great, thanks to those F&F special features. Great content in those that a pre-internet childhood me watched over and over. Great to see a proper documentary going ahead.
I really hope you have Gabriel on to tell some stories. Him trading a Corvette for the scramble civic/Dom's heist civic is a good one. Also I'd love to hear about Monica.
Well, maybe in Fast 15 we'll see Jesse and Tran come back from the dead... It's Dom's superpower, he brings back dead people and turn enemies into family.
I think Vin got lazy and the Rock didn't fit at all in the later movies. The sun should have set after F7 in my opinion. Paul is no longer with us and I don't have any interest in the convoluted plot lines....5 was the last decent one. 7 for being in memory of Paul Walker. At least that's my take.
I don’t think they need to end the franchise, they could just make new movies with different characters. Tokyo Drift was all different people except for the cameo at the end and it was great, we don’t have to keep seeing the same crew pulling off mission impossible heists for the franchise to continue.
Interesting how many people seem to refer to Vin Diesel as not being easy to work with. I guess it must be true. I do, however, admire the effort and actions he took to get to where he is today. That must not have been easy.
have worked with him...total ego maniac ...in his own words to us "I'm the star of Fast n Furious" ... Dnt expect him to keep to shooting times or schedules either...total tool

Would suggest you make a top comment with all the links in it because no extra links is a bit weird and harder to find stuff. (especially for outside US where some sites might dance around with EU only pages)
8:27 the rock has done a billion different things in his career and still gets up to hit the gym at 4am every day, Vin Diesel basically hit the equivalent of a movie franchise lottery and doesn't have to do anything else.
Trying to choose a favorite between Vin Diesel and The Rock is kind of an abstract concept, unless you conform to the cheese of the later movies, since you would need a time machine to see how The Rock would have handled the first movie (which, imo, was the best one). Honestly though, I think the entire cast did a good job on the first movie. I just wish the franchise hadn't veered so blatantly in the direction of James Bond Mission Impossible WWE Ocean's-I-Lost-Count Dodge Commercial Circus.

Yellow skyline got crushed after the first movie due to it being an illegal import at the time. The actor for Leon im pretty sure craig made a video on. I think he said something about wanting to pursue a music career
I cannot understand how they can bring Letty back....they can bring Han back and tell his story....they can bring everyone back: Except Jessie. He must have either been so humble without a voice that no one cared that he as a person just faded into obscurity after filming and didn't pressure anyone to keep his character valid, or he has a terrible agent because I would have rather seen his character written in instead of Nathalie Emmanuel whom they got to do the ADHD brainy nerd type character in "The Fate of the Furious". Oh well. They threw him a bone finally....it's still lame he got completely written out.
Jesse was no more dead than Letty or Han. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they brought him back for the final movie. With how inconcequential death has proven to be in the franchise who knows, they may just bring Tran back as some Bond level super villian despite us seeing him as a corpse.
