@@zhihaoxu756 no one has been phenomenal this season, but last season we achieved better without Ronaldo, than we did with Ronaldo the season before. I’d say Rashford was phenomenal last season. Not as good as prime Ronaldo of course, but i’d day that Rashford’s 2022/23 season slightly edges Ronaldo’s 2021/22 season on an individual level.

Ronaldo is saying he does not respect ETH (assuming he doesn’t rate him as a coach either), he also didn’t rate Rangnick and said that Ole deserved more time - meaning he obviously rated him as a coach.
Now I’m not saying his word is gospel, but if one of the GOATs is saying that, surely it’s feasible. Ole’s reign ended horrifically and there was no option but to sack him as it turned out, but compared to now, it was never this bad under Ole.

Ronaldo was underperforming(after using compassionate leave given to him by the club to force a transfer behind their backs) so ETH started to play him off the bench and more sparingly as he couldn't perform and age was clearly was catching up with him. Ronaldo responded to this by behaving like a spoiled child then completely embarrassing himself in the Morgan interview by trying to play the victim.
Since then Ronaldo had underwhelming performances for Portugal in 2 tournaments and should have been dropped and used more sparingly like ETH did. Looks like Santos followed suit as well and did this.
Funnily enough Ronaldo only scored 1 goal in 10 prem games before ditching United. Exactly the same as his record for Portugal in those tournaments.
