love superman and i dont like when people say he is unrelatable, he is in fact relatable on so many levels. orphan who lost his parents, his entire world and sent to earth in hope that he will find a new home where he will be able to live freely and be accepted. an alien with powers of a god who just wants to fit in and feel human, that is all what superman wants but he became earth's modern day messiah, earth's greatest protector, he is an example of what every human being aspires to be. he is simply perfect on every level, that is superman to me. loved mos, wish a lot more people did.

I think he is the most relatable charecter, like all of us he tryes to be the best he can and even though he has super powers he can not be accepted. Just like all of us we try so hard even though we don't have powers and we are just like everyone else, we can not relate to other people.

Superman is super-relatable (sorry for the pun): he's a man forever lost, sent away from his world to save this one. Except he can never be accepted as "one of us" because of the same power that makes him our protector. Yet Superman is the most human of us all: Kal-El has more compassion and mercy in him than any man on the planet. Kal-El has the power to rule all of humanity; instead, he has chosen to serve. Human beings get choices and Kal-El/Clark Kent made his. He's what's best in all of us.

Yes it was man. Yes it was! Along with 80 and 90d music in my opinion. I was born in 1999. I grew up on alot of rock and roll, and songs from the radio. Songs like this had substance, unlike the stuff from today. Thank you Mom and Dad for influencing my taste in music
Man of steel came out few years back. But this song came way longer. That era of music is still the best. I'm stuck in that awesome era. I don't want to evolve to this era.
Take the time to read this comment. There's so much reflected in this video. It's been my favorite video on youtube for over 2 years now. From Clark choosing to suffer from homelessness and hitching rides like a normal person, to being bullied as a kid, to watching loved ones die, all things that could've been prevented had he not been so morally bound. The restricting and limiting of his powers demonstrates his control and self-discipline exercised daily in his life. He allows himself to be handcuffed and taken so he can prove he's worthy to a species obviously inferior to himself. Humbled beyond anything I've ever seen. Yet consequentially, it results in him being lonely and distant from the rest of the world. The strongest man in the world is able to feel weak, helpless. As hard as this is to believe, I can relate. I've saved so many people from the edge of something dark and dangerous, people who won't even remember me now. I've been stuck at minimum wage or demanding and unfair jobs, homeless in dangerous situations, bullied, abused used and left for dead. And more. So much more. But I kept fighting. A day at a time. Learning. Growing and adapting. And always finding reasons to keep faith and hope.
I've come so far and grown so much. I may not have a career or professional purpose in this world. But I know God put me here to help others within my power. This video inspired that part within me. Perseverance I believe the word is. If you are someone or know another going through something, send them my way. Every life matters. I want to help others since I cannot help myself.
Never lose faith guys. Always keep going on. If not for anyone else, then for you.

My wife told some of her friends while she was dying that I had become superman, handling a million tasks at once. I didn't become superman, I was still a man. I was used to handling a million things at once, just not so intensely for the 5 months she was dying, and it took a toll on my body that I am still healing from. My wife didn't like me crying near here while she was dying, so I would sneak off to remote parts of the hospital and cry alone (covid restricted visitors, thank you CCP virus!). I know this song isn't about really being superman, but rather about being a man, who is expected to be superman. At times I wish I was superman, and could fly off to somewhere. Of course, if anyone had these powers, and had a heart, they would not be able to easily fly off and be alone. They would always be drawn into something new.

Henry Cavill is such a good Superman. He’s great as Geralt in the Witcher, but he doesn’t get the credit he deserves for this role.
He got his first role I believe in the movie the Count of Monte Cristo - with John Reese playing the Count Henry was so young then, almost didn't recognize him.
i love superman but honestly i never liked Cavill for the role, don’t get me wrong, the production was great so the movie is not bad. but i can’t really feel superman from cavill.

Best Superman movie and Superman actor so far. Love the story as it explored what it was like for someone who is not of this world trying to learn what it means to be human. Also, couldn't have gotten a better person to play Clark's dad than Kevin Costner .

There's a sequence from an issue of "Superman" where he figures out how to stop a dangerous fire at S.T.A.R Labs and accomplishes it in mere seconds. (It may have been faster than that, it's been awhile since I've read the story.) Anyway, one of the doctors says -- after Superman explains what he did and how he figured it out -- "Don't you find it amazing that you can do all these impossible things?" And Superman replies, "No, what I have to remember is that everyone else CAN'T!" This sequence captures not only that fact, but the aspect that, well, how would any of US feel if WE could do "all these impossible things"?
Interesting interpretation. I think of it a bit differently though. I see the quote more as a burden towards superman and how he cannot expect everyone else to do it. It is something he is able to do that others cannot and that is what drives him. It is a duty, a responsibility and a burden.

This strikes a spot in my heart that I keep hidden from the world. I saw Superman the movie in 1977. Been a fan since. When I was going to have a son in 1993 I started collecting for him. In October of 1993 I lost him to S.I.D.S. So now everything I do is for a son. I even wear the S on my arm with his name. My son brought out the best in me.

This movie mostly blew it... I loved the idea of him being a hitchhiker of sorts, finding people, helping, rescuing and discovering his true abilities... throw in some natural disaster that shows him off to world, while Lois Lane investigates this mysterious figure.
