The thing about these ambulances is that they have the law on their side. They are equipped with so much lighting that no matter the angle, you can see these. If you get into an accident with one of these, theres no way you can defend yourself if it was your fault.
@@k9officerft434 You can't. If there are a bunch of emergency vehicles lined up for a major motor vehicle collision, there will be just as many or more flashing lights than this ambulance. If you crash because you thought those were disorienting, the judge is going to throw the book at you and leave you witha big bill for damages.
As always excellent outstanding brilliant they deserve alot of credit tons of it let's honor and appreciate the paramedics who proudly serve us your service and time and efforts are deeply appreciated even around the world great job great team work and great and sweet catches as usual still going strong great team efforts are deeply appreciated stay safe and warm out there stay strong and healthy as well much love and respect and appreciation job well done you should be proud way to go very impressed appreciate you guys thanks please don't work to hard appreciate you guys thanks !!!! Don’t quote me but I do believe that The reason they have all the lights is because in the 80s tvac got into an accident with a car while running code. They were sued and lost because the driver they hit claimed he couldn’t see the Ambulance. They than crammed lights anywhere they could. I also think that 75 has some prototype light from Federal Signal.
Gold Line Nope that was not true. Just an agency tradition that started off some innovation of adding side warning lights, than clearly a few more after that
Teaneck Ambulance TVAC Nothing even comes close to these rigs Very confusing while I am at work Because can’t tell the difference between a TVAC bus & Englewood Fire Apparatus Responding Excellent compilation If you look at their Facebook page there’s a write up on the legendary GMC with original striping & lights & I need to say this Needs more Cow Bell Lol
Did anyone ever stop to think that it these rigs exceed their amount of lights maybe so it can serve the optical illusion that there are TWO ambulances responding? If that's not the case, then the excessive amount of lights and sirens serve to those who don't pay attention too much to the road now these days.
This is me every time I see an emergency vehicle: They need a lot more lights Me swing this: I love this, it’s what every emergency vehicle needs… but it seems a bit to much.
Great video! Thanks for uploading the video! Just another video of nice looking buses that are ruined by too many lights. In addition to way too many there was no thought given on any type of synchronization. Although it may not be possible for all of them but, some effort should have been made to reduce the risk of looking like a Las Vegas billboard. The use of this many types of lighting technologies should be a what not to do when upfitting apparatus.
The person in charge of lighting might need to lay off Red Bulls. While they look impressive, I bet each rig needs 3 alternators and they burn one out each month. That is way too much lightening. I say with LED technology, take off anything that rotates, any halogen lights, and strobes and go back down to 1 alternator on rig. You can get away with fewer LED lights and still be seen as effectively.
Oh my god! Such hate on the lights! Lets hate on car colectors because they have too many cars, gamers for to many games or systems, carpenters for too many tools.
Teaneck EMS..the worlds only emergency service that can be visually tracked from the International Space Station

Trying to cause an "accident" with these type of ambulance going to a emergency and saying " I didn't see the ambulance! " is just a way to lose.
Problem is then you can plead the case that there’s so many lights it’s disorienting to see so you crashed

@@Condor4R true, I could totally see some idiot claiming it was disorienting tho, not that they’d win

Fire Chief: Put as many lights as you can on these things and spare no cost!
Well seeing as this is a volunteer ambulance service, you're half right.
I'm all for lights, but these things look ridiculous imo
AMB1534 ridiculous.....ly amazing!
Fair enough. I wouldn't have enough alternators to power these rigs!!

C J i don’t believe it’s Prototype anymore but the led rotary 15 inch bars were the prototypes
NJ Emergency Chaser The FS part was true, but the story about the accident and the lawsuit are not.
Some of the coolest ambulances ive ever seen
*_When the 8 year old daughter decorates the Christmas tree_*
They should consider this as an "Air and Light" unit lmao
The reason for all the lights on the newer rigs is because of the tradition that they started I believe back in the 70's.
Federal signal: Alright, so what kind of lighting are we doing for your ambulances?
Teaneck: Yes.
SHUT UP!
I think I saw a spot on the bumper that you might be able to put 2 more lights. LOL
Instead of sirens, they should be playing Christmas music. After all it is a drivable Christmas tree.
I think they could use some more lights, I couldn’t see them...
Truckie 168 I’m in agreement!
Gold Line Nope that was not true. Just an agency tradition that started off some innovation of adding side warning lights, than clearly a few more after that
As many lights as the fleet has they could have bought 3 more complete Ambulances
I love how your camera made it look the rims were not moving!
love these ambulances
they really love lights there .but looks a bit like the ghostbusters car
Love seeing an old GMC still running
They keep it in great shape!
wow that GMC has to be real old
ocscards9 1989
Still going strong
@@peterarvanitis6497 The engine was likely replaced or restored
There's a Fly on your screen The whole rig was Refurbished
The amount of lights at 1:13 alone is hilarious
I love this vid ive watched it many times as unit 73 is my all time fav rig to watch
I too love 73
@@demonracer2 Mine too! Looks like a beast!
OMG this view with all Teaneck ambulance together is AWESOME !!

Demonracer2 Excellent will do👍
Dr2
Pov: Boss said you need to be seen: Teaneck Yes boss I think we can be seen!
Multiple lightbars and multiple sirens they went nuts!
Well most ambulances have at least 1 siren, but some departments add a Q or EQ siren. Its actually a bit more common than you might think.
If you line them up on the street at night you can actually see them from Mars.. 👌
merry christmas from teaneck voulenteer ambulance
1:02: siren?
More lights on these tricks than I’ve ever seen. Looks cool. Those grill lights are nice.
Like no side lighting but a shit ton in the front
So many lights, can't tell how many blues & reds there are.
Incredible work honey!!
Morgan Thompson Thanks! Miss having my partner with me on these shoots
Honey???
Awesome job!! Has to be one of my favorite ambo companies!
Oklahoma Emergency Thank you so much!
They have *WAY* too many lights
Gamer_ 47 yes
They have a million lights in the front but like 4 in the back lol
Who you gonna call?
GHOSTBUSTERS
I litteraly found this vid again after 10 months and wantet to comment The Same Thing without knowing i already wrote this comment
An Ambulance with a fire truck siren
2 words Cristmas tree
Do we know what happened with one of the ambulances, I heard one was taken out of service
Engine problems
@@demonracer2 Was it by any chance 74? Also was it completely taken out of service or?
The double stack light bars on the top are not necessary, but I sure like the grill setup.
so were not gonna talk about them having a million sirens right?

They could use a few more lights. Not enough warning. Put them in the tires 😂 any more lights and they would be too heavy to drive
Private towing companies be like:
I didn't see them coming, officer.
Taeneck volunteer's chief's 7yo boy : 'Can I decorate your ambulances ?'
'Sure !'

Teaneck has,the best sirens and colored lights
Needs more lights on the side to complete the look
They don’t buy into the theory less is more.
Here come the ghostbusters. They must have won the Wheelen lottery
I love the video!!!!!!!!! Keep up the great work!!!!!!!!
Jay Riley Thanks!
Nice compilation
Chandeking4 Thanks!
No Final Countdown sirens?
dr.dean
They should never get rid of that GMC. As long as it performs, that's what counts.
They plan on keeping it even after it gets replaced
They could buy a whole new ambulance if they sell off all the lights on the current ones.
I'm surprised the mothership didn't suddenly appear...
Nice job dr2 like Teaneck ems rigs very colorful u should do this in a night version. I think it will b cool dr2.very great anyways!!!
Christopher niles Coughlin Thanks so much!
Doctor 2!
I didn't know the Ghostbusters got into the emergency light installation business.
these things has way to much lights my word
My fav is the older 80's era unit
Mine too!
Christmas trees
Fire trucks are on fire
Fire depart??
The only Xmas trees I like
This is what happens when you let Clark griswold design the lights
I was watching this in math class Lol

The amount of lights on those things just screams volunteer... These things look so dumb.
Crud,They need more lights,I can’t see them from a short distance.
So many lights it's silly, a waste of money and bordering on dangerous. Despite all this they still aren't that visible.
They all have an unnecessary amount of lights on them
And there's nothing to do, I still prefer the old ending song ! ;-)
So many lights you dont need siren just lights
That is wacker af
stop at intersections you guys! that's the rules of emergency driving while on code response...
This community has too much money.
AKA Seizure city
If you think about it they dont get paid so they can throw as many lights on there as they can
more than half their paitents suffer from epalepsy (i cant spell i know)
federals on ambulances.?.?.? why???? just why???
Federals should be on all rigs except cop cars!
Because they can. There's no law specifying what sirens you must run (other than Cali and NYC)
0:50 When the game lags!
Austin Jakusz i don’t get it
Because the rims appeared to not be moving
😎👍
Wäller .Rescue haha thanks!
Red lights are suck, blue
What in the volunteer is going on here? No wonder volly Departments get a bad name.
Why so many lights
Because there's never too much ^^
It’s Teaneck baby that’s way👍
Win Storm why not?
the only reason they have "Large ambulances" is because they need room for lights
Oh my god! Such hate on the lights! Lets hate on car colectors because they have too many cars, gamers for to many games or systems, carpenters for too many tools.
Seriously????
These things are a joke
Ridiculous. How about better equipment, less size and less lights. Buffs
