  • This is the old Irish legend of Oisín the son of Fionn Mac Cumhaill and Niamh of Tír na nÓg🧝. A story of love, longing and loss. A story of the magical land of eternal youth and a story of the last of the Fianna.
(I apologize for any mispronunciation. Since neither English nor Irish are my first languages, there may be a few mistakes.)

Ah such a classic tale, I have the surname "Finn" so my family often jest & mention we are potentially descendants of Fionn and his mythical clann.☘ Love the thumbnails pointing out what Cycle of Gaelic myth the tale stems from. Only a matter of time I'd imagine that Setanta gets a mythical mention. Go raibh maith agat lass.🌅

CúChulainn and Fionn definitely will get their own Videos here 😊...and I suppose it will even be a whole series for each of them. There are just so many great stories surrounding those great heroes of Ireland 😊☘🇨🇮

I wonder how many versions of this story exist. A very good telling, very similar to the one heard. Just 2 minor differences.

She narrates with a East European accent, but simple language and good pronunciation of Irish names. A few grammar mistakes though, and one or two weird pronunciation. Subs.
