My definition of soldier is not limited to the Army. See there is an Army soldier than there is general term "soldier," which applies to every branch.

My dad was a Marine and has since passed away....My dad needed to have hernia surgery, but they could not put him under or give him anything because of his heart....He told them to proceed anyway..My dad said during the surgery he just kept saying to himself "I am a Marine" "I am a Marine....He said it was the most painful thing he had ever endured......Rest in peace dad and thank you for your service....

I am a retired security officer ., and getting tased was a mandatory part of our training as was collapsible baton, pepper spray, and physical defense for those of us not assigned the armed officers course. That being said I can tell you from personal experience getting tased hurts a lot more than people think. I am five foot two and when I took my training shot it felt like somebody hit me with a 2x4 in the back of the knees., one minute I'm standing up, and the next the best way I can describe it, imagine hitting your funny bone and having your entire body feel like that at once. And for those who say they have seen people pull the probes out and keep going., yes that's true but only because they are hyped up on adrenaline or drugs or both. What you see during this test is what happens under normal conditions... It is going to hurt and hurt bad.!.!, but not as bad as getting shot by a long shot

@@daniigarcia7480 Doesn't really matter. Its the troops the troops that are needed to fill in spots for the job. Especially for Marines who travel all throughout the pacific and come back to Okinawa. And that can be any Marine that has done the proper training go on those trips, which are MEU's. (Marine Expeditionary Unit) For Marines that are here, they're lucky to be here because a lot dont experience it. In my training, I was able to pick overseas, East, or west and I chose overseas. Lucky I got it because everyone won't get the choice they wanted. Especially if you fuck up and you're not trusted.
