    I must admit I find the Posca painting much more attracting to the eye. Perhaps it’s the extra attention to detail made easily with the use of the pens vs a brush and the added work that comes with that.
    Thank you for sharing! I’m definitely ordering some now.

    Absolutely amazing video! Answered all my questions and doubts about Posca pens, what they are and how they compare to acrylic paint, and answered in great detail and from an artistic perspective and insight as well. And the icing on the cake, the actual paintings you (effortfully) made showcasing the strengths and beauties of both posca pens and acrylic paint, while also showcasing your incredible talent 🍒

    I like Posca pens better better. I have such problems with details and fine lines when I paint with acrylics and the pens make it easier for me. I also like the bright pop style they create. Both your paintings are so pretty tho!!

    Thanks for the video! I love that the paint pens can go anywhere and are easier to take out and just start working instead of taking all my paints out. I’m anxious to try combining them too, and using the paint pens for fine details over the top of an acrylic painted base. Super cool.

    I love acrylic paint!!! I use paint pens (not posca as I'm poor lmao) to add details over the top. This way I can blend the acrylic and add fine details.
    I have a lot of """"expensive"""" and """professional""" pallets too! 🤣🤣🤣

    This was very good! I liked the Posca piece way more but you did cop out! I still don’t know which will be better for my project. I’m a digital artist, iPad, Wacom, those are my media and I sort of skipped the whole paint thing but now I want to challenge myself and do a piece on my electric guitar. I think I’ll go with the acrylic

    Thank you very much for your video! It helped a lot to make a decision. To stick to acrylics/gouache. I was about to buy a set of Posca pens because they are just used everywhere and they seem so easy to use. And all the setup and later cleaning when using acrylics is rather off-putting. I thought Posca pens might make the creative process more "barrier free". Put I think acrylics (or gouache for that matter) enable me more to make the art I want. So thank you for helping with the decision making process!

    Hello! I am about to paint my book edge with the posca pen. Do u think it will work? Does the color of posca pen keep smearing our fingers when it dries? Thankssss

    • @ScribbleFix
      @ScribbleFix  2 года назад +1

      Hi there, posca pens work on most surfaces, if its a more porus surface like wood it works better, but if its a more glossy surface like glass or metal it will benefit from a primer so it lays down better. (Primer is a benefit on whichever surface it is regardless) and if you’re worried about it smearing, I recommend a spray on varnish like krylon crystal clear or something like that. It will keep it protected for years :) good luck!

    I think it is kinda funny you did not show how many different surfaces that it is easier to use the Poca or Paint pens on over brushes with regular paints. I like that there are paint pens or markers you can fill yourself and then you use the paint you already purchased! I have seen Posca markers filled but it is NOT an easy deal! I did enjoy your video and I kinda like that you did not pick a favorite and both are winners because you CAN use them both! Have a great day!
