LOVE these pieces! Posca are so great for simple yet bold art, my favorite! I honestly can’t wait to see more Posca videos from you!
I also wouldn’t worry too much about getting more colors! It’s amazing what you can create with just a few. I think that’s part of what makes Posca pens so special. They’re not one of those “collect them all” art supply and really showcase that “less is more”!
Aww thank you so much, Kasey!! Honestly the way you use Poscas inspired me a bunch to give'em a go myself, (as you are the QUEEN of simple yet bold art haha😆)!
And great point about them being a supply that showcases "less is more". It was weird at first because of how many layers I usually work with, but in the end, it was really fun! My brain's already thinking up more ideas that'll utilize the limited selection.
Love your channel!! And you inspired me to try them myself!! I only have white and black (so far) but I'm going to grow my collection. :)
Edit: I got every color at my local Michael's haha
That is so true!
Kasey my favorite artist
eeeee
Good use of the Posca pens Z. Yeah, I guess they’d be perfect for doing simple print graphic styles, such as those used for stickers.
Thank you!
@@Zaccura i love your vids

On a scale of 👞 to 🍕 how much do you love Posca pens?
🍔!

🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕
I definitely tend to use these pens as an accent for acrylic paintings; outlines, for example.
I'm new here and I'm enjoying so far.
Also, I love when you said "whenever working with limited colors, I usually like to simplify everything..." I think it's a very helpful advice.
Welcome!! Glad you're enjoying the content haha. Thank you!
Girl, your posca pen art is kicking ass. Love it.
I will use the tips in the video when I get posca pens. They seem helpful.
I LOVE the lemon and lime and I like posca pens
Wowww, I've discovered a channel I'm gonna binge watch! Thank you RUclips Algorithm 🤩
Aww thank you so much!!
All the pieces look amazing but the last one looks soo nice!
Thank you so much!
Maybe it’s because I’m bingewatching Avatar right now, but I’m really reminded of Toph’s voice in your voice! 😯 so nice to listen to! Also, love the color combos! 😍 for the 3rd drawing, personally i already loved the sky blue for lineart & shadows
Oh wow, Toph is literally one of my favorite characters of all time, who knew we were sisters😆
And thank you!
I love the green and yellow one. It looks so pretty~ I love it so much.
Thank you! 😊
Also that second painting is amazing. They all look good but that 2nd one is perfect. Also you're too hard on yourself, the dark blue shading was great
I loved all the illustrations 🤩🤩🤩
Omg I love you! Thank you for this!! You sounded like my friend! About the cake and eating it
zaccura is the best posca painter if you ask me she is sooo talented
U did amazing thank you so much
This is so cool!! I've been kinda scared of using Poca markers in my art but watching these kind of videos are really inspiring.
love how the colours pop out
Great, i like the idea that you add purple for shadowing cuz blue + pink made purple it make a big impact 😍
Fantastic Posca gals you made there...and I thoroughly enjoyed your candid conversation throughout the process...when u laugh but your laughter is barely audible...that’s what makes me smile ;)
I really want to try posca pens some day too. I love your style with them, the color palettes you chose arelokkin' very good together. I also love how you edit your vidos lately, with the lttle anmations and sound effects, so good.
Awe thank you! And haha, I've been having fun with the edits lately, glad it shows ;)
I like the red and black one best. I got into Poscas through mixed media art journaling online classes. (That was a mouthful, lol) They write over almost anything and aren’t water soluble like gel pens, so you still can glaze over them if you want to. They don’t clog as much as gel pens do over textured media. So they’re invaluable if you like to use collage elements that get glued down with gel medium, which tends to gunk up a lot of other writing instruments.
Great info!
These are awesome! My favourite one is the black and red one as I too love that colour combination so much
😎💖🖤
One word. UNDERRATED! Your art is literally so gorgeous and I love how you used the posca pens. Keep it up :)
Aww you're so sweet, thank you!
I remember watching this video and I found you in my subs And ITS AMAZING 👌✨😌
I love posca / paint pen art, I've got hundr3ds of overpriced paint pens, but I'm trash at art..but I aspire to do this type of art! It's tricky cause it seems so simple and easy but it's not at all
Awesome work on the colors it looks so adorable
Thank youuu!
Must find my Posca Pens, not used much after going digital. Your work is of a very high standard.
I really liked the lemon …. lime one . I just got deco acrylic markers and I just started painting and drawing again sooo I love the markers and the simplicity
You got mad skill homie
I think it's so funny you say you would do the posca illustration digitally so much faster- I am that absolute total opposite!!
Oh wow! I guess it's all about what ya practice haha.
Nice work Zacky! Keep it up. ''Ya skake em, ya pump em, ya love em''
Thank youu! :D
I kind of really liked the light blue lining of the last piece! Still love the outcome tho.
This was a really nice video! I loved ur ideas and how u used the colors even tho u were limited! 😊❤️
I LOVE YOUR ART WORK!! ZACCURA YOU'VE INSPIRED ME TO TRY DRAWING WITH THESE PENS..YAY!! KEEP THE VIDEOS COMING!! YOU'RE AMAZING!!😆😆😆
Aw Thank you so much 💖💖💖
This is just so cool! A part 2 would be great
Love your content!
I so wanted to try these! Thanks for this video😊💖👍
Go for it!
Such a good video, I just love your editing and artwork
Beautiful
I think posca sells a skintone or "nude " set if you just specifically wanted more skin colors
The girl you drawn makes me feel peaceee
I loved the three of them! It was very inspiring. I don't have access to Posca pens where I live but they look great! I usually paint my drawings digitally but after whatching this I'll try to do some traditional painting 😁
Thanks for the advice!! ✨💞
Awe so glad you enjoyed! Best of luck with your traditional art!
this video was so relaxing ! loved it .... subscribing in 3...2...1!
this was so relaxing your art is so good can you make a part 2?
magnifique bravo et merci.
I really love Posca pens! I recently started using them because I've had a few markers for ages but like you said, I have difficult times to figure out the best color pallete :< I have the pastel range and some darker ones, which are really nice, but still I feel the struggle haha
Greetings from Russia))Exellent art and video !!!
Wow she brought them before everyone did
I'm on the first one and wow.ite fabulous...have you thought of doing abstract like shapes with colours over them.
I ordered them for that reason and just realised my faux pas
I love how funny you are too 🤣 😂
i got them and they are soo cool
More of this please. I love thiiiiiis! New subscriber here🤍
the second drawing reminded me of Starfire
I surlike!! 😍
Muy bueno!
I've been playing around with mixing my art and graphic design. I haven't tried to use Posca pens to mix design and art but it looks fun so maybe I will try it. I am really impressed with your illustrations and I especially like the yellow and green one. What can I say... I love green. Also, if it's not too much trouble, what paper did you use? I am always looking for a good paper that can handle Posca pens.
Thank you so much! I used an inexpensive store brand Multimedia paper. I think the brand is called 'Nicole', but not sure if they sell it anywhere else (and the store that I got it from just closed down recently *cry cry*).🤔
If you're feelin' it, definitely give the design/art mix a go with Poscas, it's lots of fun! :D
I'm always here for stickers! I've just started using posca pens in the past few months. They're so much fun! They kinda remind me of gouache in a pen. I've got to get a few more, though. I only have 3 colors and then white.
Ooo, I've been wanting to try gouache for a while! If it feels similar to Posca paint, then I'm even more interested in trying it out hehe.
@@Zaccura It would be even more so if your used acrylic gouache, which doesn't reactivate with water like regular gouache does. But regardless, you can get that matte flat look with it!
Love the color choices and I now really want to try Poscas. Isn't it really hard to just go over the detailed, beautiful sketch and remove it completely? The images turned out so great, looking forward to a second video :D
Haha well I knew I would be covering the sketch with the paint so I tried not to make it too fancy.
But also, the lighter colors a little transparent, so you can still see your lines under it (which helps guide you with details like eyes and stuff). ;)
@@Zaccura I see, it was obviously worth it, all three turned out great :D.
I think is beutiful
Sheeeesh

Wondering if the colours tend to bleed into each other ? And/or do you have to wait for the paint to dry? Loving your art work btw ✨ 😍
They don't bleed as much as something like watercolor. But they will bleed some if it's still wet. I like to wait until its dry before going over it with a different color, it dries very quickly.
I hope you do some more. These are great😊😊😊.
I really enjoy posca pens, more specifically with lineless art. Would you consider trying that? I used them for the customize something for promptsquad, it was a sketchbook cover and i have a videon on here if your interested
Thank you! And oof line-less art is always a difficult one for me. But might give it a try sometime!
Maria Elizabeth vibes
The first drawing is really similar to what I had in mind, from the blue hair, to the pink sleeveless shirt and blowing a pink bubblegum. And I had this visual idea of a character since March before I even discovered this video. 😰
Now I’m not so sure if I can draw her again.
Any advise or suggestions?
Either way, love the video and your Posca art. Keep up the good work! 👍
Oh my! You know something similar has happened to me before in the past. What I did was just change my design/idea until it was definitely different, but one that I still liked. If you plan on drawing this character again and again like an OC, then that's what I would suggest, just so you can be sure your OC is your own and not attached to anyone else.
But if you just want to make a single stand-alone illustration, then perhaps when you post it, just mention in the description area what you just explained here. That should be fine.
Please watch some of the art work of Angela Pan. Amazing art…..uses Posca and Molotov. I never knew you could use paint markers like this. She mixes them and goes over dried paint…..the key here is the paper!
I love Angela!! Been watching her for the last couple months, she definitely opened my eyes to the blending possibilities, really amazing work💖
@@Zaccura I bought her kit on Mossery and am having so much fun with it…….I am not a pro like you guys……but amazed at what i can do! They just came out with a marker sketchbook like the one in the kit with triple coated paper you would love it!
Great video! I've just started using these. One question is it the Beige pen that you are using for the skin colour? It's one I don't have haha. Many thanks.
I believe the color I used for the skin on the first two drawings is called "Peach". Hope that helps!
New sub
Appreciate the support!
Great drawing 🔥🔥 I also do art video
I’m late here but may I know what paper or journal book this is? I like the size and the fact that it works perfectly with posca
Just kidding. I see now that your notebooks are homemade. So now I’d just like to know what type of paper it is. Also just saying I would buy the notebook if you started selling your own on your website
Ahh why thank you so much! Perhaps will add some notebooks to my shop in the new year
@@Zaccura thanks! One more question! What size did you cut the paper to?
I think it was 8" x 8" :)
I haven't used Posca pens because it seems too big and the pumping would hurt my hand. So I'll stick with acrylic paint. The yellow and light green is my favorite. Oh and I wanted to ask if you're still doing your Discord group or not?
Haha well you really only need to pump them at first to activate them, and they also have smaller sizes. ;) But if the pen-format isn't something ya want, then indeed regular acrylic sounds like the way to go.
If you mean T.A.G (The Artist Guild) Discord, yes we're still up and running. Did you want to join?
@@Zaccura Yes I do!

Atm, it's name is just - 'Whale Fly' 😂
@@Zaccura Hehe--
Which paper do u think is best for posca pens? I don’t wanna rip the paper or ruin it
I used regular multimedia paper for these. It worked really well. I would say use something thick but not super absorbent (I'd say no to watercolor paper). Multimedia paper, yes. Smooth Bristol paper, yes. Hope this helps! :)
Zaccura ok thank you! I was just gonna use watercolor paper until I read this lol
@@Zaccura do you think molskine is good? For posca markers/pens?
What colour of posca u use for the skin of your character?
I also wanted to ask the same question 🙋🏽♀️
I wish my local craft store sold more than seven colors 😢
Have you tried artistro by any chance 🤔
I have! I actually made a video for them: ruclips.net/video/SdJOI-eoEZs/видео.html
This is SO nice! :) Would you like to come as a guest speaker to one of our community events? We'd love to learn a bit about illustration :)
