Hey guys! Today I am going to be doing some art with paint pens. I've been obsessed with posca paint pens for so long. They are amazing for easy customization projects and other fun art activities. But these paint pens are called Karin decor brush markers and they are $300 for the set!! Let's see if they are as good as poscas....

Hey! my name is Moriah (pronounced muh-rye-yuh 😂 ) and this is my channel....obviously. I'm 27 and like doing anything creative...and being snarky.....just a lil. I make a lot of decorating, painting and general art videos here. I'm obsessed with editing and adding lil bits to my videos, so if that's not your thing....oof you may hate this haha. I paint on squishies, thrift store finds, and other random things I pick up. I also love to draw, but don't expect anything too skilled, I'm not the best at that haha. Gahhh it’s so annoying so many were dry!! I had a handful a bit like that but definitely not to that extent 😖 it was usually after I’d been using it a while. This turned out so pretty though!!! I absolutely love it 🤩

I think this layered painterly look is great personally. Looks more organic and painterly rather than flat and cartoony. A variety of colours seems more lit by real light instead of a flat 2d symbol. I’d be afraid to spend so much money on them if any were dry as that’s bad. I’d use them with poscas (combination).

I love this drawing! I have been searching for some markers that work the way these are SUPPOSED to, but those are way to much money for me, and they don’t even work well! I was shocked that Moriah kept going and still came out with something gorgeous! I am sure most of us would have quit! Moriah is a true artist for being able to turn any failure into a success! Btw, how in world did this video come out two years ago? I feel like it was yesterday! Anyway, Moriah, I love your art and channel!

Actually, once the frosting snow was added, I really liked the candy trees. The colors and swirls look very pleasing to me. The vague cotton candy style sky was also really making me crave sweets. I feel like this is a picture from the surface of Moriah's home planet.

I actually like the blending on the stars and the middle pink lollipop, looked very artsy I love it. I think the only thing I don’t like is how streaky the background looked- literally cringed while watching you use the dry markers I had flashbacks to when I used to use dry markers and how annoying they were 😭😭 but ignoring the background I really like this design

MORIAH YOU SHOULD PAINT A CHESS BOARD WITH LITTLE PIECES THAT YOU SCULPT AS YOUR CHARACTERS! Basically one character for pawn and another for knight and so on! I honestly love the messiness and colorfulness of the painting at all stages, the markers are good in their own way when not compared to poscas, they work well for this type of art.

Why not customize the boxes? They look quite pretty and with a bit of Gesso you could basically make proper color orders (or just use them for something else).

I really like this drawing... its haunting and cheerful at the same time.
Last year I bought about 6 Karin paint pens having no idea what they were and immediately loved them. I’ve since seen several RUclips artists reviewing and raving about them. I’m not nearly as talented an artist as you all. I DO appreciate quality art supplies and understand why some are very pricy. All that being said, these are usually very “juicy” and worth the price. You’re so talented and one of my (as well as millions of others’) favorites on here and you should definitely contact Karin about dried up markers you got. ZERO excuse for you to have gotten even one bad marker 😉 You’re too incredibly good for that shite 😘

i really like the final product! as an abstract artist i think it really leaves an impression as well as wonder! but what matters is that you had fun!
What?! I love this drawing! I'm so glad I watched this because I thoroughly enjoyed watching the whole process unfold. And I think a new galactic version of Candy Land should be pitched to Mattel or whoever made the original and Moriah should be invited to create the board. (Someone call them please). Just sayin'. That being said, I'm not sold on the markers. If Moriah has trouble using them, I would probably be crying in an hour. So nope.

i did a quick google, and the original creator of the boardgame (assuming thats what you mean,) is schoolteacher Eleanor Abbott,
In 1948, retired schoolteacher Eleanor Abbott invented Candy Land in a San Diego hospital. Abbott had been diagnosed with polio and during her convalescence she was surrounded by children suffering from the same disease. (i copied it off of google to save anyone reading this the problem)
