Wish I’d found this before I made my first box! This video explains everything that took repeated errors to figure out. Thank you!

Thank you for the video. I made several of your boxes, but always struggled with the hem rows, especially the corners. Also it helps to see how you attach the large beads for legs. Just bought instructions for the Stacking Tree Box, can’t wait to start this project.

I am so glad to have found this video. I bought the book years ago, was afraid of it, and gave it to a more capable friend. Now with much more time beading, I’m feeling like I can do this, so I’ve just gotten a new book, I’m happily watching, and I’m studying patterns and plotting my next bead order. Thank you, Julia!

Love this video, thank you so much for taking the time to make it. I followed your beadalong In the Facebook group a year or two ago. It's the first time I was completely happy with my beaded boxes ❤❤

All my boxes didn't have the hem row because I couldn't figure it out, but looking at your video it was a piece of cake. I will definitely be adding them now.

Fabulous. Just bought your book, Beaded Boxes, 12 miniature boxes. I have never made a box before and I am attempting Red Knot. This is very helpful thank you.

What a wonderful video! I made you kitty box several years ago and still love it. Recently I bought your medium turtle box pattern to make for a friend, but I'm afraid I'm lost with trying to decrease on the head end. I've never been able to figure out the word maps but always did fine with the graphs until now. I can't seem to get my needle in the correct spot and direction to go off the word map but I'd like to try it again. Would it be possible to show on the graphs which bead I should come out of and the direction and then the first bead on the other graph showing the sides?
I think that would be all I need to finish this up. May be even a short video showing the first two rows of the decrease area? Thank you for these beautiful designs!

Can you post a video for making your new school box? I can’t seem to get the base to lay flat.

I'm not planning a video for New School as it's a very old pattern, but as I state in my book, six sided lids and bottoms - even oblong ones - don't lay flat. They peak significantly. So you're doing fine!

It's admittedly not a groundbreaking design. My aim was to teach the basics as I've been asked to do videos in the past. Trust that it's nobody's but my own, though.
