  • Hi there!
    Welcome to the first tutorial for fringe earrings. 😊 I will start with fringe earrings made with findings and the second tutorial will be about fully beaded fringe earrings. Let me know whether you will try to make some fringe earrings for yourself and which beads you choose! If you do, please share it with me over on IG if possible by using #inspired_by_bafflingbeads ❤️
    ❗️ If you remake my designs always credit the original creator and artisan to respect their work and effort - it is not ok to steal ideas and designs from others and sell them as your own. It is rude and disrespectful at the very least. Don't be that person ❌

    Thank you so much for your tutorial!! Very easy to learn from & follow. I've struggled to learn beading by reading books, I'm a hands on learner and this helped teach me how to make the earrings I've been wanting to make so desperately, so Thank you so much!!

      I find tutorial videos very helpful because you can answer questions right away that may come to mind. I often had trouble finding answers to specific problems because most people either don't talk in their videos or they only explain what they do to achieve a pattern or design. But not the problems that may occurr along the way. Happy to see that you enjoy my tutorials! Thank you 🙂

      I only use silver in my jewelry so that was a challenge I had, too. I would look for 25 mm findings. I found silver “D rings” on Etsy but they are a tad large at 30mm. I just changed the pattern so they fit. I’ve since come up with my own 3 color pattern and have used triangles, circles, etc. I was on here because in the start of the video I thought she said she’d share her color codes but now I see I’d have to buy the pattern. I was curious to know if she uses all the same finish of bead for each. I will continue to play with it. Thanks for the tutorial! I’ve just returned to heading after taking a long break to learn silversmithing. Love them both!

    I find it difficult to find hooks and earrings and findings that dont fade/ oxidize when in contact with skin. I have ordered a few different types, But all seem to fade quick. Do i always have to opt for Sterling silver? But how do i then find brass-metal that does not fade? I don’t live in the EU or the US

    • @bafflingbeadsat
      @bafflingbeadsat  Год назад

      What do you mean with "fade"? Do you mean that they get duller over time? Thats normal for brass and sterling silver. I don't know much about sterling silver but you can polish brass. For findings and beads you would probably need to use a Q-tip for it.
      If you buy something and the metal looks spotted then I would stay away from those sellers in the future. I also had extreme discolorations with gold-plated supplies, so I try to stick to gold-filled if I want to use gold. Except for my small golden hoops, those are fine. I also had sellers who sent out supplies where the plating was already chipping off, I don't buy there anymore either. I buy my supplies on Etsy and I've tried out a few but for that reason I don't disclose my suppliers as I made the experience that sometimes the quality decreases.
